Kabob House, the first location opened in Yakima, Washington in 2011. There was briefly a location in Union Gap, whichis right next to Yakima, but it closed. There is also a location in Spokane, Washington and one in Richland, Washington. In2021, owner Ahmed Baqer changed the name to Zullee Mediterranean????? Grill because he plans to franchise and expand hisbusiness beyond Washington and Idaho. Zullee?s has an upscale fast food vibe.? There are three ways you can order your food.There?s an app you can download. If you?re doing takeout, there are two computer monitors to the left of the door where you areexpected to place your order and pay for your food. You can also dine in.?? Personally, I do not care for online ordering andwas taken back that this was a requirement for a to go order, especially for one who has made the effort to locate and drive tothe restaurant, park some distance away (for some reason there were cones all along the front of the business prohibitingparking up close), and walk into a ?restaurant.?? I would have received more enjoyment and human interaction from placing myorder at a drive-in.? I visited on 11/10/22. I ordered a Beef Shish Kabob Dinner ($15.79) with Tzatziki ($.49) to go. The menudescription for the meal is ?marinated beef, veggies, basmati saffron rice, house salad with ranch, grilled tomato.? If you wanta small container of sauce of any kind, you have to pay extra for it. My salad was fresh but I didn?t like that it was pairedwith Ranch salad dressing. I would have preferred the option to substitute another kind of dressing, but the online ordering didnot give me the option to do that. We so wanted good Mediterranean food by the village. this is it!! .a new Zullee down the street, I met three others yesterday at... opening time, 11am. We were first in the door. It was good but not Excellent. I have grown to expect excellence in Mediteranian food I guess because my wife and family can and... do make our own that is o so much better than this place. The dishes here were amazing and full of flavor. The manager was actually the one that sat us and got our drink order, also the... drinks here aren't Pepsi or coke they are made with real sugar and natural flavors which my whole family loved! The wait is finally over and it was worth the wait! I tried several dishes. I had the Hummus with Pita Bread. It was excellent!... The Hummus a smooth flavor. It wasn't sour and it wasn't sweet. I really felt like I was tasting the region it comes from. Ithen tried the Kabob Combo. I chose Shrimp and Chicken. The Shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Shrimp popped when Ibit into each one. The Chicken Kabob without a doubt the best I've ever had. The Chicken melted in my mouth. Sooo good! Then Itried the Chicken Shawarma Dinner. WOW! Again probably the best Chicken Shawarma I've had. It was seasoned very well and verytender. The Cucumber Salad was very good as well. I also tried the Pistachio Baklava. It had great Pistachio flavor. The pricesmight seem a little high but the quality, portion and service justifies the price. Zullees is now going to be a regular stop forme. Highly recommend this new Bistro!!!!! We had an amazing meal at one of Meridian's latest new restaurants, Zullee Mediterranean... Grill. It is located along eagle road in front of Big Al's. If you are dining in they will bring you menus to the table. Weloved the ambiance. Very unique look with the lighting, chairs, and tables. The restaurant has a very good menu full of greekand mediterranean fare. I had the Mandarin Cardamom as my beverage and it was a very refreshing drink. The Lentil Soup wasdelightful and came with warm fresh Naan Bread on the side. For the main dishes we ordered the Beef Souvlaki and ShrimpSouvlaki. The flavor was great and the portions were perfect. For dessert we had the pistachio baklava ... AMAZING! The owner,Ahmed, came by our table towards the end of our meal. He was very interested in our experience, was extremely friendly andinviting, and when asked, he gave us a little history. He started his first restaurant in Yakima Washington (small world as Ilived in Selah Washington, a suburb of Yakima, for 8 years as a youth). He kept expanding his restaurant in Yakima until hewanted to expand. The Meridian location is the franchise model he will be using. He will being allowing franchisees starting inSeptember 2022.
