If you want your weekly intake of sodium you?ll get it here. The food was presentable and quickly served but was not edible. All... we could taste was the thick salt and our tongues getting raw from it. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, tacos and a side ofqueso with tortilla chips. The only good thing we had was their spicy bbq sauce. The bathrooms were also clean and wellmaintained. Would not recommend and do not intend on coming back. Read more
We will not be coming back. I had to play the guessing game with the employees on what menu selections they had available.... (Note: we arrived at 6 p.m., not late into dinner service.) I'm sorry we don't have sausage, I'm sorry we don't have kids meals, I'm sorry we don't have wings, I'm sorry we don't have smoke turkey. (Note: the kids meals and wings were posted on the menuboard as unavailable.)Then when I asked what they do have I got a snarky remark that I better hurry because they were almost outof ribs. Really great food! Everything was hot and perfect. Sweet potato fries weren't the best, but the rest of the experience made up... for it. The employees were really nice too. Definitely coming back! Read more
UPDATE 2/15/22: My husband retried R&R that had catered for a work event. He said it definitely didn't get any better. Would... not recommend. 1. The sign on the door states masks required, but the gal at the register never wore one. All the other staffwore them under their noses while prepping food.???? 2. Every. Single. Table. Was dirty. They all had numbers on them and theplace was empty. It wasn't until an employee brought our food that she started cleaning the tables and removing the numbers andplacing sanitized signs on them. WE WERE EATING AT A DIRTY TABLE. 3. Food was mediocre. The salad dressing was in a tub and itwas all separated. ???? The pork in the pork tacos was dry and looked like it had been reheated. The brisket was burnt ANDcold. We definitely try to give places a fair chance but I can't see us coming back. I rarely give poor reviews but 4 out of 4in our party were very unsatisfied with our meals. Hard pass. Read more
The service was good and very friendly. Popular for families with young children judging from how many were there. My husband... was pleased with the pulled pork and pineapple sandwich. I had the pulled pork tacos, which I don't recommend. Leave the tacosto the Mexican restaurants. Read more
Here?s the deal I?m a native Boisean and growing up only one spot took the cake for BBQ here in the Treasure Valley and it?s... Goodwood. Now after moving away to Austin Texas and enjoying arecas bbq it?s tough to find bbq on the same level anywhere. WellI now come to my experience at R&R?I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the 3 meatplatter with sausage, pulled pork, and brisket. Now again coming from Austin brisket just won?t be on the same level but thiswas so below average for brisket I was blown away by a restaurant that claims ?Championship BBQ & Catering? and ?Award Winning.?The sauces are good I?ll give them that and the pulled pork and sausage was good no doubt. But the highlight was the Mac andcheese which was sad for a place that I was hoping would get true fall off the bone tenderness with their meats. The food justwasn?t up to par with Goodwood. Bottom line- It?s not bad but you can find better. I wish I could have had better words but as afood podcaster I have to be honest about it. Read more
I give this place a one star rating. Yes the food that I got was good. That?s not the problem. My wife bought nachos and when we... opened the lid, the nachos had very little meat and tiny splash of sour cream and sprinkle of tomato?s. Very poor assembly ofnachos. So I called the store right after seeing this. 11/12/21 at 9:32 p.m a woman picked up. I told her what I haveencountered with my meal, and asked me please hold. She passes the phone to whom this guy addressed himself as ?the actingmanager?. He then repeated what I told the woman before and he said to me that the R&R BBQ holds themselves to a high standard.So he said they would make it right by sending us a different or the same meal with a complimentary extra side. I gave him myaddress because he said they would have it delivered to us. We waited until about 30 minutes later after the placed closed andstill nothing. We love coming here. R&R has much better BBQ than any of their fast food competitors. Spouse and I shared the nachos and a two... meat plate, more than enough food! The nachos were loaded and delicious with super crispy chips that didn?t get soggy. Superimportant for a good nacho! We also loved the two meat plate. Would recommend! Read more
