Just got back from playing the course and it is in terrible shape. The starter failed to mention that holes are closed and they... are creating new cart paths. Tee boxes are moved up on many holes with the ladies tees. We should have been informed of thisbefore paying to play. Very deceptive. I will not play there again. Would have given Lakeview ZERO stars if I could. Read more

The draw for me for this course the past 12 years I have lived in Meridian has been the proximity to my house, and the fact that... they are part of the "TeeTiming" discount golf card program that makes playing there affordable. This year, we have beennotified that Lakeview will no longer participate in the TeeTiming discount. That fact alone means I will be playing my lastrounds at Lakeview in the coming weeks. Sad; I have played probably well over 200 rounds here and have always visited the barand restaurant after a round; often my wife would join me for dinner. It is a real let-down that the course is going after theBig $$ from all the newcomers to Meridian, and is making playing here too expensive for the long time residents. Boise Ranchand Timberstone still offer the TeeTiming cards, and they will be getting my business as soon as this year's card is usedup. As others have mentioned, Lakeview is now VERY Overpriced during construction of new sprinklers. The City now owns thecourse and they are charging very high rates and the course is in very poor condition. The greens are OK, but the fairways aremangled and several of the tee boxes are uneven. While I will miss the short commute to Lakeview, I will enjoy playing bettercourses for less money, and maybe save a few golf balls from my frequently errant shots landing in someone's yard atLakeview. In summary, Lakeview could retain customers by discounting prices during construction and bringing back the TeeTimingcards. Short of that- ADIOS. Read more

Avoid at all costs... course conditions are completely garbage. Can't believe they're charging full rates while under this type... of construction. Most courses offer discounts for mere green aeration. They should simply close this course completely, or cutrates by at least half. They didn't even send notice of the miserable conditions when I booked a tee time. Worst course inIdaho, likely will take a year to recover. Truth be told it's the worst course conditions I've seen in decades. One holecompletely closed, all the other fairways dried and burned. Tee boxes were a wreck. Active irrigation/construction acrossseveral different holes. Way to many other great courses in the valley, don't waste time here. Read more

Review based on recent round. I?m being generous with 3 stars. The course is in rough shape. Fairways were dried out, one hole... was partially closed and another was completely closed All due to major sprinkler work I assume. Will probably take 9 months torecover. Will try again next year. Absolutely the worst course in the treasure valley. Save your time and money. Grass is completely burned, tee boxes are unkept.... I?m shocked by the price of the round with reference to the shape of the course. Do not play. Read more

Looked for a restaurant and We wanted to try something new for dinner instead of our usual and I'm not sure about everything... else on the menu but the chicken sandwich was the best I've had. And it's simple!! Put together, tasty, and not dry. Plus a viewof the lake is great too. Come for lunch or dinner they have specials daily too. Drinks little on the high end but goos placefor a meal. Lakeview was mediocre at best 3 years ago when I played last. July 3rd of 2022, Lakeview is in atrocious condition and is by far... the worst experience for 18 holes in the Treasure Valley. For $55 (riding 18 on a weekend) I received the following experience,on top of being over charged for an additional $13 trail fee for which I paid $16 and change; every tee box needs TLC, 2nd holehas hundreds of feet of burned up, new sod that is ruined, 3rd hole has no instruction for temporary tee boxes and so begins themassive amounts of irrigation equipment laid all of the course and in play. There was a large, broken tree which split that hadnot been removed and sits just off the fairway in play. It is the bumpiest, flat course I've ever ridden on; mowing while courseis wet and soggy creates massive impressions everywhere and will eat up the lifespan of the newer carts. Prepare to use a footwedge to have a good lie in grass since so much of the good grass is actually chunky and burned up. There are signs to help stoppublic urination on almost every hole which makes the experience feel gross overall. When I checked in for my tee time, it feltlike an inconvenience to golf at a golf course. Go anywhere else in the Treasure Valley to golf and even putting 18 at Wahoozwill be a better experience for the price and interactions I experienced. Read more
