Came here for the first time as we were staying the in the hotel next door and could just walk over. Lots of room inside, large... place. Plenty of servers, didn't have to wait long. Got a BBQ bacon burger which was quite large,with an onion ring in themiddle, and an all you can eat salad bar which included: -green salad and all the fixings -potato salad -cole slaw -otherprepared salads -baked potato bar -nacho bar -soups (potato bacon/chicken noodle and chili) -rolls/biscuits with gravy/cornbread and more (like jello and stuff) As you can tell, I was impressed with the salad bar. If I'd had room, I would have triedthe dessert bar but I was too full. Read more
Wow!! 2 burgers and fries from KJ?s. Same price as drive thru- but taste, size and value are Over The Top! Excellent!!
Thoroughly enjoyed KJ's American Grille for lunch. Friendly hostesses greeted us and found a table for us. We had Fish and... Chips and Enchilada dish. Both were excellent and the service there was fantastic. Jacob our waiter did an excellent job inmaking sure our needs were taken care of and never had to wait or look for him to help. The price was also right - making thisan affordable food stop whether ordering off the menu or the buffet's they have. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet this weekand left with happy full bellies. Food was very good! Boyfriend and I had purchased the philly dip sandwich as well as the cranberry chicken sandwich no... complaints about those whatsoever! When it came to the french fries served with the sandwiches they didn?t really have muchflavor and were kinda hard to get down without drenching them in ketchup. The server assigned to our table was consistent andkept checking in making sure our drinks were refilled and the food was tasting good. As for the lady at the cashier she was rudeand honestly didn?t make us feel very welcomed she was quiet and looked like she does not enjoy her job, seeing as the cashieris the last person we see leaving the establishment I believe it is important for them to be attentive and happy. Love the Salad Bar. Today had split pea soup that was spectacular. I topped it with Tortilla strips and chunks of ham from salad... bar. Then I had chili cheese nachos delicious. Of course you have to have the fresh fruit watermelon ???? and cantaloupe. Mygrandson had a bar b q bacon cheese ???? burger. He said it was really really good. This is a must do. We decided to try this place for the first time. It was older inside and not much updating has ever been done. It was... clean. They had a breakfast buffet. It looked pretty good and had all of the basic breakfast fare. The food- was probably themost bland food I've ever eaten. Maybe because they cater to the older crowd and they would rather season their own food. Youcould definitely tell the food was not homemade. It was like everything came pre-packaged with instructions to "add water". I'mnot sure what their lunch or dinner would be like. What I did love was the staff. They were all top notch. Nice family restaurant with friendly staff. The service was quick and the food was tasty. The salad/soup/dessert bar was a good... value to add on to a meal for just $4. The baked goods (especially the cinnamon rolls and brownies) are great! Read more
