My best friend from college lives on the East Coast, close to NYC. I get to travel to New Jersey and NY a couple of times per... year. Of course, each time I go, I seek out a different pizza restaurant to try. NY ruined me for pizza in Idaho until I foundGrimaldi's. The pizza came out perfectly. A little black on the crust (from the flour) that brushed off. The cheese was great,the sauce was perfect. While I ate, I noted that they had several Door Dashers come in. I said to my date that several of theDashers were just carrying the pizza out in the box without a warming bag. I could bet that those pizzas wouldn't be hot whenthey arrive at the customer's house. That seems more of a Door Dash issue though. I did take a couple of pieces home and hadthem the next day. The very best way to warm up the pizza is to use a skillet. Yes, I'm serious. The crust absorbs the sauce abit and if you just warm it in the oven, the crust isn't as crisp as day one. But if you do it in a skillet, you can regain thatcrunch on the bottom that it had on day one. Read more
This is the worst pizza we have ever had! It was completely burned and when I called the manager, I was told that?s just how... they come out because they put flour on them. They told me to call Uber eats for a refund. Do not go to this establishment! Read more
I will start out saying I have eaten here many many times-- As well in different states. This location used to be SO much... better. Post Covid the core values have completely changed. It took almost 2 hours before the pizza arrived. Granted thewaitress said it would take an hour. However, 2 hours and the waitress only checked on us once. We sat in front of the pizzamaking station. Literally every 15-20 orders were for take out. They're priority is now take out orders rather than sit-ins.They also no longer give balls of dough to children. They might as well close their doors and only be take out. If you wantGrimaldis just order takeout-- you'll get it much faster. Either there's a management problem or they just don't care. Read more
Still waiting to be seated. Restaurant was pretty empty for a Monday night yet asked to put name down for wait list for outdoor... seating. Tables were available. After we were seated and finished at a different restaurant, I informed management of thesituation and was told there was no wait list for tonight. I let her know how I would interpret this experience although shedenied it. I will not visit this restaurant where I'm not wanted or apparently not welcomed. Their loss. Don?t come at 9 pm on the weekend. They will say their oven is taking longer than usual to warm up. Been here twice around the... same time and was given the same exact excuse. They take over an hour to cook a pizza. Horrible service. Pizza is okay. Doughseen undercook. Probably would never come back. Read more
