In town for a business trip, I literally ate here four of my five days in Connecticut. Service could be better and they should... be more generous with crackers after you order Clam Chowder or any other soup. I had to request and beg for extra crackersafter ordering Clam Chowder everyday. Seems they would clearly understand you will need crackers or more than two, 2 pack ofcrackers to eat with your soup! Despite these failings, however, the meatballs sub and lobster rolls were absolutely tastywhich kept me coming back. So when you're in town visit the teal colored building, Spoonshoppe Brook Deli. We stopped in for sandwiches, the quality and taste was a good value for the price. They had covered outside seating available.... Limited drink options from a cooler. Try the cranberry toast chicken salad, did not disappoint! Read more
Recently moved work site locations close to East Main Street in Meriden and just started looking into lunch options. This is the... first place I have stopped for lunch and will definitely be going back. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a hard roll andleft happy! Place has a unique one off kinda' feel. Fantastic little sandwich shop. All kinds of meats and seafood including lobster rolls as well as homemade soups and cookies!... Plus the picnic tables by the brook make for a great picnic spot! The chocolate covered Oreos were delicious too! Read more

What a nice surprise. Happened upon this cute place. The staff was so friendly. The menu was great. Food came out really yummy.... We had clam strips and scallops. Both were fried in the lightest batter and seasoned perfect. I'd recommend!!!! Read more
