Relaxed laid back place where the locals go. When I used to live on Mercer id walk over a few times. Only weird thing was the... owner was telling me a story one day. Said they don?t allow nose rings (I have a septum piercing) Went on to tell me that awaitress had a low back tattoo and a regular patron saw her bend over and harassed her about it. Police were called. The ownerblamed the waitress for having a tattoo and proudly said she doesn?t allow any of ?that? stuff anymore. Odd thing to be proudof. Go for the beer, not the ownership. Nice atmosphere and good drinks. My friend and I waited 45 minutes to order food, at which point we had to ask a different... server because ours would not come to our table (not really sure why, he did see us while he was attending to other tables inthe area). I?d understand if they were busy but there did not seem to be a reason for us to wait almost an hour before we couldorder. We were there for 2 hours and our second round of drinks never came. Overall it?s a fun time if you have a lot of time tospend. We did get a $4.00 discount for the wait so I guess that makes it?.slightly better? Read more
Nice spot with a huge patio. It was very covid friendly and the fish and chips were awesome.
Came in here with a few friends for early dinner on Monday when they weren?t that busy. We all ordered burgers, and the server... asked us about how we?d like it to be cooked. I was excited because when they usually ask, they care for ????. I ordered mine inmedium rare, but when our food arrived, all of our burgers were pretty much the same doneness? the patty was so thin, and it wasover cooked and dry. Fries were OK. It was pretty disappointed ???? and my friends didn?t finish their food. 2 stars as theserver was nice, but I don?t think we are coming back. Read more
Lovely setting, with a water view, quite a variety of items on the menu. We tried the burgers, they were well prepared and the... fries were good too. Service was great, and food was brought out quickly. Solid restaurant for meeting friends and enjoying ameal. Eat on! Read more

Not sure why my crew continues to suggest this place. Parking is a pain, several areas within the restaurant are cordoned off so... seating for our group was really difficult. The bartender accidentally dropped a bag of tortilla chips and he started slammingthings afterward. Our waitress was not the friendly type. Food is just okay. It may be filled with Mercer Island tradition butreally not a do-over or worth going out of your way. Read more
