Amazing little café. Coffee is not burnt like Starbucks and the taste is clear and distinct. Pastries are a must! Location is... small but cute. Finding seating can be tricky and same with parking. Recommend walking there or just picking up and leaving ifyour in a hurry. Read more

The place is a gem! Everything starting from sandwiches' look to gift sets of tea is so thoughtful and pleasant to an eye. The... coffee is great, not too acidic. We ordered merengue tart and kids had chocolate croissant with raspberry pate. The tart wasdivine, both its look and its taste. The merengue was light and fluffy, melting in your mouth, the tart was just the rightamount of sour and sweet. We will definitely come back for more! Read more

It's hard to believe that La Fête Pâtisserie only opened its door last summer because it gives me the vibe of a... well-established traditional french pastry shop. The menu is small but solid, they know what they do. Service is prettyfriendly. Their croissant has a nice form, the color is right and the layers look crisp. It could use a little more flakinessbut overall I was pleased with what I got. When I returned to La Fête for a second time, I decided to try something drasticallydifferent so I had a goat cheese and fig jam brioche, the combination turned out a delight, as the sweet fig jam lends itselfbeautifully to the tangy flavor of goat cheese in a richly baked brioche. We ordered a pumpkin chocolate croissant, the raspberry and chocolate pastry, and the orange brioche and each on was phenomenal.... The people working were incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining what was what as well. Read more

A perfect patisserie right here on the island. If you get there early, you?ll have the outdoor seating for yourself. A 16 oz... cafe latte is pure perfection. ($4.50) Any of the sandwiches are good too, but a bit pricey ($9.50) while the decadentcroissants ($5.50) will make you run straight to the gym after, but it will be totally worth it. A cool place on an early Sundaymorning. The staff was friendly and attentive. (As a former baker, particularly one who focused on croissants, in my mind theones at La Fete are exactly the way they?re supposed to be.) Read more

An absolute must if you possibly can! From welcoming staff to a fresh and organized operation to, dash! Dare I say it? The BEST... pastries and some truly smooth, chocolatey organic coffee. Aah, yes! You must sink your hand deeply into your wallet (i.e. thisain't cheap) but oh, it's so worth it! We tried the raspberry croissant with the chocolate inside, the regular pain auchocolate, the raisin-rum pastry, the picnic perfect baguette and the coffee. It was all wonderful, and better than Parisbecause it's made fresh amidst the trees and nonsmoking Mercer Island magic. Definitely a great spot for a special treat. Theyeven have desserts, dainty and divine. Consider picking up goodies and driving over to Slater Park where you can sit on a woodenbench and watch the lake waves while you indulge in all the comfort of the very, very best in carbohydrates! Love this place! The pastries are flaky and delicious; the sandwiches are crusty and yummy! They remind me of pastries we got in... Paris. I haven't tried the desserts yet, but it's definitely on my list. So impressed, too, with the owner opening a placeduring these crazy pandemic times! Read more
