The food was great. My boys ate eggs and chorizo, eggs and ham freshly made, both says it was delicious (beans and rice... homemade). My little girl got a kid?s quesadilla with asada it was a huge quesadilla tasty flour tortillas and asada was niceand soft. My favorite was my plate the shrimp ???? enchiladas and the red salsa the chef brought on the side. My husbandfavorite were Huevos rancheros salsa and eggs were cook just right on top of a corn tortillas. The chef brought the plates toour table that was a very sweet touch. Read more
I have to tell you, I am a big fan of this place. Taco Tuesdays is my jam!! And it looks like they do this on Thursdays... now.???????? Today it was two polo and two pastor tacos. For me that was the perfect amount. Basic old school street tacos. Nocheese no whatever. They are old school. Two tortillas, taco size, meat, cilantro, onion and salsa. Delicious!! The waitresswas awesome, super hospitable. Came back and checked on me a few times. Had a smile on her face. ???????? Oh and bring somequarters they have some video games. Cons and I truly hate this part. I wish it was cleaner. Probably tough because I only seen two people in the place. Cook and waitress. I worked in a restaurant as a kid. And we cleaned everything. And then did itagain. But really go and eat those tacos. I will have to go back with the wife and try some other things. I am a fan!! Read more
Let me start off by saying the staff is very helpful, sweet, and attentive. I don?t write low star reviews lightly, and I... thought of not even posting it for the reputation of the restaurant?s sake. The pozole is good (nothing special but good ifyou?re craving it), there was a bone but I can understand missing a piece before serving it. What to avoid: the enchilada,rice, beans, and chimichanga. Enchilada: Trying not to be harsh, the enchilada was terrible. The inside of the enchilada wascotija cheese (which doesn?t melt) covered in a watery salsa? Not a sauce. It tasted like a salsa dip for your chips mixed withwater (but the water separated). The rice was cooked well but tasted like water with a sprinkle of vegetable seasoning. Beans:I absolutely love all beans, but I could not eat them from this restaurant. The texture was bad and they were topped withmelting cheese that made it difficult to chew. Chimichanga: Hear me out - it tasted like spaghetti. Oregano in the meat isgreat, until it starts to taste like an Italian dish. The chips were good. The carnitas taco was a little fatty but edible, butthe salsa that came with it had no flavor. I am very sorry for the two star, and I hope this was a VERY off day for therestaurant but I won?t be eating there again to find out. Read more
