It was hot in there. Overall it was OK. The teraki bowls have the meat and veg cooked separately . The vegs were cold and... should have been cooked with the Teri sauce. I tried it for the first time and ordered the chicken and the steak with rice and salad. The sauces were very good. The meat had... zero seasoning not even salt and pepper which was very disappointing. The rice and salad was decent. Overall I would say try itif you are out drinking but if you are in it for the taste its a big no based off of the simple fact they cant even season meatproperly. Read more

I?m disgusted by how my food was prepped. The salads should be packaged separately from the ?WARM? food, it made the salad warm... which tastes gross. I asked for extra ginger and this is all I got. The spicy tuna roll had a stench like it was over due or hasbeen sitting out for a while. The rice was too soggy and mushy. Food is over priced for this kind of quality. This is probably my favorite place to eat in Merced outside of the in-n-out. The food here is really great and it's one of the... few places in the area offering unagi don for a very reasonable price. The drink selection is also awesome, as they have MelloYello Peach and Seagram's ginger ale. They also have Groupon, which saves you a pretty penny every so often. Read more
