Never had this place before it coming to Mentor. I heard a lot of the hype about it but had to try it for myself. Let me tell... you that my family and I really love it. I don't know what the sauce is but it's fantastic! I always get extra when I go ????I like that they have fresh sweet and unsweetened iced tea as well as lemonade as alternatives to soft drinks. Just wished thatthey had more choices than their 4 meals. We really enjoy the outdoor seating area and the staff is really polite. Read more

It was actually my first time at Cane's it was semi busy and it surprisingly was a pretty fast line. The facility was clean and... the staff was personable enough to make you feel like you weren't just a number. What I like best is the fact that theydecorated the store to fit the location as far as it being in mentor Ohio. Pretty cool spot and they even serve a hundredchicken fingers on the menu I was surprised at that. It's about a 30 minute drive for me so it's not good enough for me to makefrequent trips but if I was around the block I'd gain weight for sure. Read more

Haven?t had a good experience at this place at all! The first time I went they lost my order, blamed it on me and made me wait... almost 2 hours for 2 box combos. I decided to try it again today and my bread was moldy! ???????? I didn?t notice until after Istarted eating it so I really hope I don?t get sick. The Lakewood location is so much better! Read more

This was my first time visiting and I very much enjoyed everything. The chicken was cooked perfectly, fries hot and crispy and... the cole slaw and bread spot on. In the words of Arnold "I'll be back!" Read more

Canes isn't really the most amazing place ever. But it beats KFC by miles. The main reason to try Canes is the toast and sauce.... Don't bother with the chicken sandwich and instead just make the unofficial one. Get extra toast and make the Sammie yourselfit's the way to go in my opinion Read more

Wow what a mess. I waited quite some time to visit. I checked the app and was able to place a takeout order so I waited after... work pulled in (directed by sheriffs) got an alert my food was ready. Walked in it was packed inside. Everyone was rummagingthrough all the orders sitting there and what appeared to be a manager came over and said ok what?s your name I told her. Shethen said ok you have to go wait outside it?s not ready. I said the app said it was. She?s no go outside, it?s 38 degreesoutside and I should go wait outside? Umm yeah NO. She calls my name and hands me an empty cup I said why are some cupsfilled and mine isn?t. Oh we only fill ice tea or lemonade you have to get your own soda. So I was asked to wait outside inthe cold then asked to barrel through the crowd to get my drink? Then handed another part of my order while waiting in lineagain for my drink. HORRIBLE DESIGN FLAW Not great customer service Read more

Original Review (Couple of days after opening): Just tried Raising Cane's for the first time! Expect long lines! I got there... seven minutes after they opened and there were ten people already in line. Ten more showed up within the next minute. Tip: ifyou're going to use the drive-through, DO NOT ENTER OFF CENTER STREET; the drive-through is only accessible from the entrance inthe Giant Eagle parking lot. Overall, the food was quite enjoyable! Here is a quick breakdown: Chicken: Amazing. Crispy on theoutside, juicy on the inside. Sauce: Surprisingly good. Hard for me to explain in words how it tastes, just very good. Totallyworth the $0.39 for extra sauce. Fries: Crinkle fries. Good, but nothing special, just your standard fries. Coleslaw: I don'tlike coleslaw myself so I asked for it to be replaced with extra bread. Bread: This was the biggest disappointment for me. I wasexpecting buttery, garlic bread and I just had bread. I ended up giving my extra piece to my brother who commented that my breadwas not as good compared to his, so I think my bread just did not get much attention. Lemonade: Not too lemony, not too sugary.I would recommend trying it! Bit pricy for the four of us, $63 and change, but would not be too bad for individualmeals. Overall, I would recommend giving Raising Cane's a try sometime! I will definitely be going back sometime! UpdatedReview (5/13): I went back to Raising Cane's for a second time. There was no line this time around, so that was nice. Myinitial rating of four stars stands; almost everything I got was the same quality as last time I went. Chicken was crispy yetjuicy. Fries were good. Sauce was tasty. My bread this time around had a little garlic flavor in it, and the bread itself isfine bread like I stated last time, but I still do not understand the hype around the bread. My lemonade this time had more of alemon flavor, making it more enjoyable than last time. The only issue I had this time around was that the c Read more

I recognize the enormous effort of time and money that went into making this Canes a reality for Mentor, but we left... disheartend. We ordered the Caniac and were very surprised at the lack of flavors. The slaw had no tang, the krinkle fries, while hot and ok were just fries with no seasoning other than salt, the garlic bread was soft and honestly tasted the best outof all 5 items. The lemonade was watered down which was surprising, minute maid does it way better. And the star, the chickenfingers were hot and tender, but very small for $15. See pic. I was surprised the actual chicken finger had little flavor and noseasoning. The Krispy Krunch chicken fingers from the gas station down the street taste way better for one third the cost. 2out of 5 stars. Read more
