It's a nice place. I imagine it's a fun hangout during certain sporting events. For some reason they sat my family & I at a... high-top, rather than one of the open booths. Margaritas were Taco Tuesday priced, tasted like Sunday leftover, & it took waytoo long to get them. Thought maybe the first one was a fluke, nope. The cheese curds do not live up to the Wisconsin name. Thewrap sandwich was horrible, the Farmhouse BLT horrible, the Mac & Cheese was like thick glue. The popcorn shrimp tasted good, &we were lucky to get the street parking spot right at the exit door. I really don't like leaving horrible reviews like this. Ireally do feel bad, maybe I didn't have anything good to say & should've said nothing at all. We won't be back. Sorry. Read more

We wanted to sit and eat outdoors in the very nice landscaped patio, but it was too chilly and windy so we moved indoors. We had... good attentive service and it wasn't crowded or overly busy. My friend and I ordered beverages and lunch. We had promptefficient service and the food was good but nothing memorable. I ordered a Cobb salad and enjoyed it. The atmosphere was okay.The name comes from the days when the city was a lumbering center. The place is a popular evening bar hangout for people as Iwas told. Read more
Overall, the atmosphere and decor was great and the food was delicious. We were served promptly and our order came to the table... in a timely manner. Our only complaint was that our waitress was wearing gym clothes and the rest of the staff was in whateverattire they wanted as well. Casual is one thing, but high waisted gym pants and a crop top seemed like an out of place choice ofattire for restaurant service. Read more
Great bar food. A bit more selection than the typical bar which was nice. Burgers, apps, tacos and rice bowls.
