First time we went the food was amazing and the service was good. Second time we went it was horrible, waited about 35-40 for... our food when we asked for the check it took 15 min to get it then another 10 to get our cards back. You could tell the food hadbeen sitting in the window for a while everything was luke warm and soggy. Not sure we will be back after the bad service. After being seated by the host, my husband and I waited 15 minutes for wait staff. We got the attention if a waitress who was... not assigned to our table, but gladly waited on us. The food was delicious! The manager visited our table and bought our dinnerbeverages! We did not complain or ask to speak to him. He was so very nice. What started as a ?not good? experience, turnedinto a very pleasant evening. We will go back again. The restaurant business can be difficult for managers and staff at times -this was handled well. Friendly attentive staff. Pretty quick service and food was good. Sat at bar no wait.
All employees were kind. Great start. However, I ordered the classic combo (to-go) and it took 18 minutes to arrive to my spot... at the bar table, and it was on a dine-in plate so I had to transfer it to a box. Also, the chicken was lukewarm, and so werethe cheese sticks. I ordered fries about 3/4 of the way through waiting for the classic combo, assuming fries would be ready orwould take 5 minutes max. Fries came out 10 minutes after I ordered them, and they ended up being under-seasoned and partlysoggy. The only reason I?m giving stars is because of the relaxing environment. Fast service. We kinda came right before close but the food was hot and didn?t seem old. We got the new cheese pub fries and hot... wings. Very good option. Although the Long islands.. is your a drinker don?t get this lol bc it taste like juice and won?t evengive you a buzz. Better off just getting shots at Applebees there drinks aren?t that strong and very sugary, just being honestalthough they do taste good. This location was cute tho I liked it. Service was poor. Another waitress had to assist us as our waitress visited with a table of guys that was not her table. We love... Applebee's but the Menomonie one we will pass on in the future. Read more
