Cute little Singaporean Restaurant in Menlo Park. Limited seating in a cozy setup. History: Established in 1999. Began as a... small 16 seat hole-in-the-wall on the quiet part of Laurel Street in San Carlos, moved to Menlo Park soon after. Everything weordered here was at their best taste. We experimented with some items which we haven’t had earlier. Sambal Kangkong - Spicytangy appetizer, though spinach stalks were little chewy. Okra option is available too. Felt $17 a tad expensive forthat. Chicken Satay - On sweeter side, expected it to have little spice. Hor Fun - Full of deliciousness, go for it if you arean egg lover. Soupy eggy flat noodle delight. Laksa - Show stopper of the day. If you like aroma and taste of dried shrimp andinto soupy noodles, this is for you. Can’t stop eating it. We ordered Lychee Spritz and Lime Juice as coolers. Owners wereamazing. We just loved the hospitality. They were so friendly and understanding. We made a mess at the table while dining withkid. They switched the table for us with a smile. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Read more

Excellent Singaporean food that reminds me of a non-humid hawker center. The Sambal Green beans were perfect, the Malay style... BBQ prawns brought me back and the duck noodles were amazing. An excellent selection from Singapore in the Bay Area. Read more

Delicious Singaporean food. The five spice roll was freshly fried and was lightly crispy with a bouncy filling. I also enjoyed... the laksa which was full of shrimpy goodness. Read more

Went here for the dungeness chili crab and was so disappointed when we were told we had to order it 24 hours in advance.... There’s is no indication of that on the online menu or the printed menu in the restaurant. Staff was kind. Duck garlic noodleswere good Read more

Nice and clean restaurant on a quiet street. Tried a variety of appetizers: the curry sauce for the rotti was excellent, lettuce... cups and also pork over shredded lettuce. Three people in the party ordered beef or pork ribs with bell peppers and theycomplemented the dishes, the portions looked very appetizing too. I asked the server for a recommendation and ordered "the mostpopular" combo of egg and thin rice noodles with shrimp, squid and calamari. The taste of the noodles was okay, but the qualityof the seafood (tiny pieces and as if coming from a frozen economy pack) and the overall dish appeal were underwhelming anddidn't match the rest of the experience. A coworker also brought bottles of wine, because when checking on the wine selectionupfront, received "we have red and white". Overall, it may be fine for a takeout, but be selective. Read more
