I made a reservation here for a team dinner and the service was very good. The food itself was pretty good (not mind blowing),... the vibes were good, and the servers were very nice and accommodating. Always proactive in refilling tea and water. Very nicelyoffered an extra scallop in our appetizer since we had 7 people and there would it be 6 pieces in 2 orders. Omakase was notsuper expensive but was good. She explained each of the fish to us and it was placed in a recommended eating order from light torich. Also ordered a few rolls and my favorites were the dragon and crazy rolls. Toro sashimi was good too. Overall definitely agood place for team dinners since the company is paying anyway. Read more

Chef tasting menu dining experience Kyosho is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants you can find in South Bay. But... since it?s a tasting menu I?m holding it to a higher standard. The first two dishes started out amazing. The yuzu vinegar inthe toro mix is very refreshing and the chawamushi gives a nice (homey) variety. I?m not impressed by the next three disheshowever. The sashimi sampler is a bit underwhelming (doesn?t show chef skills really). The hotpot sea bass is ok (lots of brothbut broth is not drinkable). Then the hamachi crude feels repetitive after the sashimi sampler. The waitress was super nice forpouring me a glass of sake. The nigiri afterwards were delicious. The strawberry cheesecake is good but not wow. Overall forthe price the omakase menu feels a bit awkward. I can pay a bit more and get a premium omakase experience. Or I can spend lessand there are other places with better nigiris. I probably wouldn?t get the tasting menu here again. Read more

Wonderful creative sushi. Great selection of sakes. Some dishes are expensive, but it's worth it.

I?ve been here a few times. This place is a bit small but I?ve been fortunate to get seating relatively quickly. The staff is... friendly and quick. The food is pretty solid. The sashimi has always been good. I haven?t tried any specials. It?s on the higherend (price wise) for sushi in the area but it?s good quality. My favorite spot and best bang for the buck is Omee J Fusion inSanta Clara but this is a good spot. I would recommend checking this spot out if you?re in downtown Menlo Park. Read more

The Sushi rolls were fine in taste but little smaller in size compared to the price and other locations in that area. We ordered... five rolls and two of us could finish all of it in one go. The ingredients were fresh and the they were made beautifully. 5rolls came in four environment friendly boxes, that is minimal use of plastic. Overall we liked the presentation, preparationand taste. Food was ready on time as well. Read more
