My evening dining at Myriel was one of the most delightful in a long time. We chose the tasting menu, and what followed was over... a dozen small plates of absolutely exquisite food. I was delighted that Karyn Tomlinson, the chef and owner, personally came outto talk about her views about food and their sourcing. Highlights include a light and delicious walleye mouselline in a beurreblanc and a perfectly cooked slice of rack of lamb with zucchini and sunflower shoyu. She is particularly excellent withvegetables. I would add that the cocktails are fantastic. I had a concoction of gin, apricot, lemon, and cava that wasperfect. The service was impeccable, friendly and happy to answer questions about each course. You need reservations, as it issmall, and there is easy street parking. I cannot recommend this place more highly. Myriel is a hidden gem. Read more

Always an amazing experience. Prefix or a-la-carte you won't go wrong. Bar has just a few seats, but a fun place if you can... get a spot. Recommend getting reservations ahead of time. One of St Paul's best places to eat. Read more

We had the 12 course tasting menu, and two of us shared the drink pairings (which were generous... It would have been a lot to... drink if each of us had the drink pairings). A lot of fantastic food, presented well, all locally procured. A nice touch wasat the end of the meal, we were presented with a printed menu of everything we had. Read more

Myriel, the intimate small plates restaurant from Chef Karyn Tomlinson, offers up exquisitely composed bites featuring local and... seasonal ingredients. We opted for the a la carte dining option, and started our meal with some of the house baked bread aswell as a green salad and carrot soup. While each of these dishes present as simple and straightforward, small touches elevateeach of them to delight your pallet. The duck breast was cooked to perfection and featured a flavorful orange sauce, and thespicy lamb sausage was balanced with a beautiful pile of tender white beans. While everything we ate at Myriel was excellent, the standout dish had to be the apple pie. Tomlinson is known for her skills as a pastry chef and this dessert did notdisappoint. Buttery, flaky pie crust encased a filling of warm, rich apple filling, which was all topped with a scoop ofhomemade ice cream. The precision of execution at Myriel is enough to elevate simple dishes like bread or apple pie to somethingexceptional. It?s also worth mentioning that the wine list here is phenomenal and accessibly priced, with only 2 bottlescosting more than $100. If you?re looking for a small, intimate restaurant with seasonal small bites and knowledgeable, attentive service, look no further than Myriel. Read more

We were finally able to get a reservation, and it didn't disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the servers were attentive,... even if they weren't the server assigned to our table. They did an excellent job seamlessly switching out everything betweencourses, but not in a way that made us feel rushed. Yes the portions are small, but we left happy full with excellentflavors! The space is intended for smaller parties (most of the tables seat 2, with a few 4), and a great space for a datenight! The only downside, us we wished they would post the menu on their website ahead of time so we could have a better ideaof what we were getting ourselves into, but we were so happy with every element. Sometimes a surprise us good :) Read more
