Bought four hamburgers fries and apple pies first of all they lost our order then I went up there 30 minutes 45 minutes later... and said hi did you forget about us they said oh man we're sorry we must have lost your order I will have you fresh food out themanager said her name was Kelly well we received our food and the hamburgers were raw all four of them I told the manager Kellyand she couldn't do anything she said I can refund money for one so it was well taken care of nobody needs to eat raw hamburgersand she said that's how they serve their customers. Customer service was great, very welcoming for my 1st time here, especially all the way from California. Wish I got everyone... names, 2 gentlemen and especially the woman who welcome me very much. The food was delicious. My husband and I got cheesefries, hot Chetto BBQ nacho(Yummy) and full rack ribs w/ variety of BBQ sauces. Will be our go to whenever we passing thruMemphis. *I would have took more pictures but my husband got to the food before I could lol. Read more
This is the only tops worth going to for me. Every time I go to the one closest to me in the Bartlett area it's hot garbage, but... this one I have never had a bad experience with my barbecue being too tough to dry it's always just right Read more

First time at Tops and last time, food was not good at all, and prices were high. Had 1/2 rack ribs, they were dry and didn't... taste like ribs at all to me. Live and learn I guess. Read more
Went thru drive thru and ordered a bbq shoulder plate with ?white meat?. Must have thought I said no white meat, all bark and... gristle. The potatoes in the potato salad weren?t hardly cooked. My side of beans was mostly juice with maybe a tablespoon ofbeans. Been eating from this location for many years and this was very disappointing. The young man at the drive thru was verypleasant. Will try this location one more time and see if this is going to be the new normal, I hope not. Read more

I always see Tops on the "best BBQ in Memphis" lists, so I figured I'd drop in for dinner. To say that I was underwhelmed would... be an understatement. The service was slow and apathetic, and the food was just as disappointing. I got the BBQ nachos and asampler plate with ribs, brisket and pork. The nachos were loaded up with everything but meat. The seem like they just scrapedthe saw dust off the cutting board and that was it. Plenty of lettuce, tomatoes, and beans. Brisket -- dry, somewhat tough,and lacking in any depth of flavor. Pork-- same as the brisket, maybe worse. Ribs-- only redeeming thing here. Not great, butbetter than everything else. Potato salad and baked beans both tasted like they came from the deli at Kroger. I had to commita mortal sin-- I had to put sauce on the meat. The brisket and pork were nearly inedible without sauce. I was there at 615pmon a Thursday, so it's not like I'm getting the leftovers from the day prior they reheated for the early part of dinner service,nor should it be the used up stuff they couldn't sell during the busy time.
