For an BBQ fast food chain it?s pretty good, they?re pulled pork sandwich are as good as any top notch BBQ in Memphis. High... praise on both coleslaw and the baked beans. Terrible service at this location. Gave me wrong side items, left out other side items I paid for, no straw, sandwich was poorly... wrapped and the bbq was old and overcooked..had to throw it away, so bad. Do not visit this location! Read more
When I have visitors that want BBQ pork, I tell them they can go into any Tops and be confident they will get a good BBQ... sandwich, Smokey with a tangy sauce with good beans and some old school chips, don?t forget the sweet tea. Unfortunately my lasttrip wasn?t so?normal. The staff was young and rude but I?ll admit, they were slammed. They didn?t have any pork to serve so itwas burgers only. Then they got it all wrong. Should be called Bottoms Bar-B-Q. I usually don't give bad reviews but this place was the absolute worst. We walked in it was... hot. Their air conditioning stopped working. They probably should have closed. The bathroom was blocked off and the staff werevery rude. They were hot and hateful. The location was unclean. We had seen reviews for Tops online and it was recommended bysome people from the Food Network. I had the pulled pork nachos and my partner had a Cheese Burger. I was very hungry but thefirst bite immediately put a rumble in my belly. The B-B-Q flavor itself was mediocre at best and not very strong. My bodyimmediately said nope but the bathrooms were closed. I recommend Tops only if you are trying to lose weight or need an excuse tohave some alone time on the toilet. There are surely tons better BBQ options then this in Memphis. Read more
Good bbq, but every time when you are either walking in or out there is always someone sitting by the door outside asking for... food or money or both. Can?t believe they allow this on their property. Long wait as well. Would not recommend. Read more
Man! I loved this place :) My meal was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Quick service and plenty of seating. Close to... Methodist hospital if you want something other than the cafeteria. Read more
Just go to the location on Lamar. I don't know what it is about this one on Union but you could order a simple single sandwich... and they'll find a way to mess up the order. Read more
