Lunch on a work day, sucked that I couldn't try the Guinness on tap. Great portobello "burger" and the fries were really good.... Wish I would have ordered more. Would be a great place to watch the World Cup. Read more

Don't bother going. This restaurant is flaky about being open or closed. This is yet another classic Memphis restaurant... randomly closed even though the posted hours say they should be open. Tried to visit at 5pm on a Thursday. Both Google and theirwebsite said open. Read more

Friendly owner welcomed even me, a Tottenham Hotspur fan, to his establishment. Great bartender, and the Irish breakfast was... fantastic. Was just visiting Memphis, but if I'm ever back I will make this a stop for sure. Thank you, Seamus! Read more

I found the Brass Door while walking around Memphis. I stopped in the next day during the late afternoon. It's a traditional... Irish Bar, it felt authentic, and the bartenders were very friendly. I couldn't tell if it was local because there were onlythree other people at the bar, and they were also tourists. Whatever, though, my friend and I had Irish whiskies at a fairprice. I'd go again. Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT!! From the food, to the staff, to the decor, and even the location,I have nothing but rave... reviews about The Brass Door. It's an Irish restaurant that makes you feel at home no matter where you're from. As soon as Ientered I felt as if I were coming home being greeted by lifelong friends. It was a very relaxed atmosphere but the food was onpar with any fine dining establishment and the Irish options on the menu provided a uniquely Irish twist that certainly did notdisappoint! The drinks from the bar were refreshing and not diluted and the staff from the front to the back of the house werehonestly beyond reproach! Will I be back? You can guarantee that! And I'm telling everyone to please not make the mistake ofoverlooking this location on your next Memphis stop! Read more

The Irish pub in the Memphis downtown area. The place looks laid back, with a friendly pub charm. We stopped by the place on... Friday evening, and it seems they close at 7!! Come on, which pub closes the business at 7 pm on Friday ???????????? However,we went back on Saturday morning for brunch. The place was not much packed. There is a bar like setting, as well some tables. Itwas morning 11ish, and we were not in a mood of drinking any Irish coffee that time. So we just drank water. Both of ordered theIrish breakfast, which they serve all day. Irish breakfasts have always been my favorite. Honestly I have had better experienceelsewhere. The portion size seems not much as compared to the price. There was a couple of sausages, toasted breads, eggs, andbeans, black pudding, bacon, grilled mushroom and tomato. The grilled mushroom was not that good. The grilled tomato even didn?thave any grill mark on it! The bacons were not that good. And there was not potato on the plate. However. I expected at leastsome potato as a part of the meal. Overall I would say it was decent, not too bad, but definitely not the best one. Read more

Great atmosphere! The fish & Chips is tasty with a plentiful amount of seasoned chips (fries) and a very tangy crunchy tartar... sauce. The best corned beef sandwich I've had in Memphis in the 2 years we've been here. Each of the hamburgers I saw carried bylooked amazing and so did the corned beef egg rolls. Great Irish draft beer selection - Swithwick's, Harp & Guiness - along withthe usual excellent local craft brews. We joined the Memphis Mafia march 2 blocks to Autozone Park for the Memphis 901FC soccermatch. They begin to rally the troops outside with a rousing song and then lead off with flags waving. Great service, greatfood, great atmosphere and local panache. We'll definitely be back! Read more
