First time coming here, heard raving reviews. We weren't completely disappointed, just not wowed. I was expecting the wind to... be saucy, but they were dry, the burger and chicken were over cooked, the fries were under cooked. So I've lived in Memphis for 3 weeks now. I was over cold food and bad attitudes. However, this place has restored my faith in... fast food. The service was a breath of fresh air. I do wish I got his name, but he friendly from the moment I pulled up. Theonion rings and fried oreos were hot and delicious. I only had two left by the time I get home; and I'm five minutes away. The service was slow, considering it wasn't very crowded at all. Worth trying if you're in the mood for a hot dog
The cashier was super nice and friendly. We were there only people inside and about 3 cars in the drive thru. Ordered two hot... dogs, fries, onion rings and corn dog nuggets. Took about 20 minutes for our food to get to us and was still missing the onionrings. The taste wasn't bad for the hot dogs but they were room temperature. With long as it took, figured they would be hot. The fries tasted like they were re-fried. Corn dog nuggets were hard on the outside but soggy inside. Onion rings came outsoggy too. Weve been looking for a good hot dog place in the South and I think we finally found it Best hot dogs we've had in Memphis.... Their hot dogs are absolutely amazing, so many great choices. We tried the Detroit Coney and it was perfect. Their wings arealso good, ordered them extra crispy - they weren't as crispy as we expected but they were still good. Nice new place with a lot of hot dog and wing options. Corndog was great. Hawaiian dog was so-so. Ordered the fried Twinkie but... it didn't look like a Twinkie... it was not rectangle nor had any filing, just seemed like a hunk of fried dough. So I know corn dogs sound so basic, but my bf is obsessed with them and he really loved these corndogs. He loved them so much... he said these are his second favorite, and this is saying alot, because him and I had many corndogs throughout our travels. First of all, you must have an all beef corn dog with homemade batter, so we seem to criticize corndogs really hard because theyare so simple, but still some don't get it right.
