Sekisui has great sushi. There are cooked and uncooked rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. There is a bar you can sit at, booths, and... tables. The server was nice and she was quick with refills and appetizers. The decor is nice. They've put up several paintingsof Elvis after the renovation. Had dinner to celebrate a friend?s birthday here. Ordered tempura udon and steak teriyaki for two. The noodle soup was terrible... - it was just like soy sauce with added water, carrots and napa cabbage. Not the right ingredients in the soup - perhaps onlythe noodle style was right, and the pot was fancy . The steak was tough, dry, and salty but the white rice was authentic. Just anote that the Nongshim Udon noodle bowl from Costco seems much more authentic than the one here? I myself have to eat theinstant udon to get back my taste. Didn?t care much for the sushi that seemed stale and small in portion. Lastly, the restaurantlooks outdated (not like the photos), stuffy inside, and could do with a remodel. +1 star for a friendly server. Read more

My friends and I sat at the sushi bar to eat and drink. It was the greatest experience to see the sushi being created right in... front of us!! Not to mention that every thing was absolutely delicious down to the edamame!!! I hate I didn't take any picturesbc the presentation was beautiful!! The ambiance was nice and the service was great!!! Pretty good sushi, pretty expensive , but lots of options. Service wasn't the best. Music was extremely annoying the whole time... we wanted to leave because the music makes you agitated. Insulting hip hop/gangster music doesn't give any restaurant a niceatmosphere. Read more
Ive eaten sushi all over the country and SekiSui midtown remains my favorite. Always a solid choice. The Jacksonville, Margot,... house cucumber, and Debra roll. Nigiri regular and Uni(sea Urchin) nigiri. Miso soup and house salad. Adding more pics fromanother amazing meal. Read more
