Sabor Caribe is an authentic Venezuelan restaurant located in the medical district. The food is delicious and the service is... warm, friendly, and helpful! This was my first time trying Venezuelan food and my waitress was super helpful in assisting me inpicking my food. She recommended the arepas and fresh passion fruit juice to drink and I'm so glad she did! All of my food wascooked fresh to order, flavorful, and filling! The arepas had the perfect amount of crunch and softness reminding me of one ofmy favorite southern things, hot water cornbread! Every bite was filled with meat, avocado, cheese, and goodness! I ordered achicken arepa and shrimp arepa! I tried my best to eat both but it was so much food that I eventually just had to pack it up totake home! I really can't wait to visit them again and dive deeper into their menu! Plus They have more cocktail options now soI'll obviously be updating the review soon! Lol If you haven't been yet don't walk, run to Sabor! Lol P.s I love that theMemphis food scene is diverse. Being able to experience different cultures without leaving the city is a gift I hope we don'ttake lightly. Read more

Location is a bit awkward and the waiting was slightly long but the Cuban sandwiches were absolutely bomb, also very pretty... interior design. Read more

Everything I've tried has been great, but the been or pork cachapa is really stellar. Imagine a slightly sweet corn pancake with... melty cheese wrapped around savory shredded beef or pork... want it yet? Of course you do! Enjoy! Read more

I cannot tell you enough how amazing the food is. I was pleasantly surprised how flavorful and fresh the food was. I highly... recommend the Papas Locas, Churros, the Arepas and the Tequeños. Oh and the Cilantro (green sauce) is surely something to writehome about. You will not regret this hidden gem. I loved it so much I bragged to my family in another state that we found thishidden gem. Yes! I finally found a good jibarito in Memphis. Fresh authentic Venezuelan food. Friendly service. Small quiet... atmosphere. This is not fastfood and it's not cheap Mexican. So don't go in thinking you will get a $5.99 speedy gonzalez lunchspecial. The jibarito is my favorite. Warm fresh and full of flavors. The cheese sticks are good. They are definitely not thenorm. The burgers are so good. Pros: Fresh food, friendly service, clean calm atmosphere Cons: price is a little high butfair, small seating area so they fill up fast Read more

Didn't have high hopes as I went to another Venezuelan place and it wasn't good at all. Ordered the Bomba-B burger. When I... looked at it, i thought this is going to taste weird and probably not good. I was very wrong. One of the best burgers I haveever had. Every thing just went so well together. I can't wait to get hungry again so I can go back and try something else. Read more
