Playita Mexicana is so good! The atmosphere has a familial feel to it, and the food is fantastic! I came in on a Friday for my... lunch break and I ordered from the lunch section. I got the Special Burrito which comes with a choice of chicken or beef (I gotboth), lettuce and tomato for the burrito on the side, and a side of rice and beans. All of this for a listed price of $5.99! Itwas all so delicious. This place is deserving of it's high praise and ratings! Will be here again! Read more
They overcharged us and the menu prices were not the prices on our receipt. We were charged $17.99 for shrimp cocktail when the... menus said $14.99. Additionally, the snapper Diablo was $23 on the menu but I was charged $26.99 not including tax. The frescascost us $4.99 each, again price was different on the menu. And we never got a refill because the server was absent minded anddidn?t not check on us the entire time we ate. My wife and I went there with our 3 year old and 1 yr old and our ticket ended upbeing over $75. That?s ridiculous. I will however commend them on the food. The food was great, and fresh but their dishonestyand attitudes spoiled it. Despite the good taste it was very over priced. Inflation? Maybe...but either way we felt takenadvantage of because the prices presented were a dishonest representation of what patrons are actually charged. SMH. Read more

I would put no stars if i could.Came into the restaurant and was left waiting for 10 minutes. The workers saw us and left us... there waiting. Once we were seated no one attended us. This man came by and asked us ?Has nobody been with you yet? and wefrankly replied No. Our waiter finally arrived and when i asked for a drink they told me they didn?t have any so i asked for adifferent and again they didn?t have it. We had about three different waiters and before we got the final one we were neglectedthe whole time. The waiter took one of my friends menu and gave it to another table. Later one the waiter looked at him funnybecause it seemed like my friend ?hid? or ?stole? the menu. They also gave my other friend WATER DOWNED SPRITE. Absolutelydisgusting. They told us we were delusional when we told them it was watered down. i personally just didn?t like the food . menuneeds more variety. Read more
Went for lunch, it wasn't too loud. Wasn't too crowded, so you got a seat quickly. The staff were all kind and available when... needed. Prices were very reasonable. The food itself was amazing. Rice and beans are staples and i don't think I've ever hadbetter. I also got a quesadilla, solid choice for those not wanting anything too fancy with the flavors- basic but very good.The tamales ???? simply divine. Would definitely recommend for a good sit-down meal with authentic flavors. Read more
It is always Great, the Lunch Specials, are Delicious and You can get a Very Nice, Quick Lunch, Large plates. Good Prices. They... have several, Whole Fish dishes, that are Terrific, and so are the Seafood Fajitas!! The Staff is So Nice and Helpful.
