Our waitress was on point. She was attentive and sweet. We had the gator bites, BBQ shrimp, and blackened catfish. I will say... that I don't think I'll have the shrimp again but that is just because it's nit my preference for how I want my shrimpcooked/seasoned. Food started strong with delicious appetizers (crayfish dip and fried crayfish tails), but then declined with the 'so so' oyster... sampler (1/3 were amazing, 1/3 ok and the other 1/3 were drowned in chili sauce, where any semblence/taste of oyster was totallylost). Main courses (surf n turf, and grouper platter) had so much seasoning it was barely edible. Why mask the flavor of goodquality fish, lobster tails or steak???? This is definitely a case of "less is more", where spices should complement (notoverpower) the natural flavors. Sides were disaapointing...grits (oddly) had no flavor or seasoning while coleslaw was alreadyspoiled. Staff service was not terrible but far from good. Had to repeatedly ask for refills, seating 2 people at booths, andasking those 2 to move when 5 people arrived, and adding meals to bill (seemed to know already, you just had to call them out onit). I enjoyed myself here. It was my first time and I was with a large group. The service was great the food was even better so I... will def be going here again. I of course got oysters (why would you come here for anything else) and I was very happy with whatI got. Nice large oysters with plenty of meat and the options were so plentiful I got more than I could eat. If oysters are whatyou are looking for look no more they have what you want here. Read more

Heading out of town with our little dog. 11:30 am Monday May 2nd 2022. Called ahead to see if there was a patio. Drove, parked,... host told us to sit at the back patio and waited while we watched employees hanging out and laughing. No one greeted us. Bothtook turns walking past the employees to wash our hands. BTW there was only one person in the restaurant who was done eating.Sucks cuz we've loved visiting here and have referred family. Read more
Awesome experience. Tonya the bartender was awesome. Gave great advice on food. Oyster shooters are not on the menu but when we... asked she got excited and they were the best shooters ever. A real Hum-Dingger! ???? Great food, and service. I went on a Thursday evening about 5:00 PM, ???? light crowd. I was the only... to go order. The place was easy to find parking lot and out door covered patio in the rear. Tried 2 Fried Fish platters mine waswith a ample order of some tasty seasoned French fries sprinkled with some fresh leafy sage, scalps, shrimp, hush-puppies and afried catfish fillet, and a spoonful of slaw with what taste to me like fresh sour-cream. 1 Shrimp and Grits plate that lookedso tasty with smothered onions etc... all was to go dinners about $70.00 and a tip. Very pleasant atmosphere classic soul songsplaying overhead speakers, and ceiling fans all over kept the place just mild and cool. This is such a nice place to wind downand chill wit a meal.
