What an experience! Every detail of our time at Napa Café was thought out and captured the essence of Southern Hospitality.... From the moment we walked up with the lush greenery outside and twinkle lights, to them pivoting to seat us outside (per ourrequest), to the live relaxing music, to our knowledgeable server, Gary, the mouth watering food, and getting a restaurant tourfrom Glenda, it was delightful! Napa Cafe, a tucked away gem in a strip mall behind the Double Tree Hilton that is worth seeking out. I'm not from the area,... and I was looking for a place for dinner. After the restaurant Houston's turned me down because I didn't have a reservation, Icalled Napa Cafe, as I can see them from my hotel. It was Friday 6/17/22 around 8:15pm. When I asked the hostess over the phoneif they were taking walk-ins, with a friendly voice, she said, "If you make it here by 8:45pm, we can seat you." I wasthrilled. When I walked in, both hostesses were cheerful and polite. I explained that I just called and asked about walking-in.They remembered my call, and took me to an open table. My server Gary was prompt in introducing himself and welcoming me. Iordered the salmon which was phenomenal. Literally everything about that dish worked...except the beet emulsion lol. I wasunsure if this would work when placing the order. Gary suggested getting it on the side. I am glad I followed that suggestionbecause I was able to try it, and send it back without it messing up the entire dish. Nevertheless, the salmon, spinach, blackrice, and mushrooms were DELICIOUS! THE BREAD, THE BREAD, THE BREAD...WONDERFUL! It was done with a garlic butter and an arrayof herbs baked on top. I could've eaten that all night long. I also had a slice of the key lime pie for dessert. It was perfectand exactly what you expect key lime pie to be. Oh, there was a wonderful raspberry saw that accompanied it that raised the pieto another wonderful level with the perfect tartness...and it was a nice big slice of pie. Experience was amazing. Great service and staff. The few issues were IMMEDIATELY rectified which is rare in "service industry"... for this area. I appreciate Glenda following up with me as Mgmt to ensure we were satisfied. Read more

Spectacular service, started with the reservation confirmation asking preferences, if we celebrating anything, etc. Waiter was... extremely knowledgeable about menu and excited to help us with recommendations. Atmosphere was romantic. Our seating wassomewhat private per my request. Everything tasted fabulous. This was our first time there, but definitely not our last. We visited Napa Cafe for an early Valentine's Day dinner and it was amazing, very nice ambience and the food was equally as... amazing. Perfect portion sizes and the waiter Ian was great with suggested wines and entrees. We'll definitely be back, perfect"Date Night" restaurant. Read more

I made reservations for my husbands birthday, 11/3. It was our first time here. The reservation was for 6:15. The food was very... good. I highly recommend the blackened shrimp dumplings with tomato bacon gravy. We also had the salmon and halibut dishes. Bothentrees were very flavorful. Our waiter was friendly. He even suggested splitting the salad on two plates since we wanted onebut not that much food. It made the perfect size. My concerns were that I asked to be seated in an area away from traffic andnot under a blowing vent. We were seated at a main table in the midst of all commotion and directly under a cold, blowing vent.We were uncomfortably cold. (When I mentioned it, the owner was willing to move us.) The other concern was the length of timebetween seeing our waiter. There was a lot of waiting despite being front and center to the entrance and bar. Read more
