I?ve been here a few times now, dine in and for take out. Every single time, everything has been perfect. Service was fast and... friendly, Tammy is the best at what she does. Awesome environment, the food was a real surprise, it?s phenomenal. The Diabloburger is my favorite, if you can handle some spice give it a try. If you order take out, the food is well packaged and willsurvive the ride back to wherever you?re going. Prices are slightly higher than what you would expect for the portion size.That being said, the service and quality of the food justify the higher price tag and I?ll happily be back. Read more
We got to Momma?s at 1:24 this afternoon. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. 10 more minutes to get our... drinks and 10 more minutes to place our food order. 20 minutes after that, still no food, we were discussing leaving. The foodcame right about then and nothing on my order was right. I?d ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with no cheese and a salad onthe side. I got a fried chicken sandwich dripping with cheese and fries on the side. My husband?s order was half right.Chicken strips with deviled eggs. He got the strips but no eggs. The waitress took my plate back and brought me salad (alsodripping with cheese) and my husband?s eggs. We tried to slowly eat what we had while waiting for my sandwich. 20 minutesafter that we gave up and went to pay. We waited (again!) for our check which took 10 more minutes. To the waitress?s creditshe (not very sincerely) apologized for the ?mix up? and took my sandwich off the bill. She also offered the sandwich that wasfinally ready for us to take home. This place gets glowing reviews. The food might be good but I never got a chance to findout and I?m never going back. Read more
A true dive bar very close to downtown Memphis... I stopped by at lunch and had the Firebird chicken sandwich and a side of... potato salad. I can attest that the sandwich was not only huge but absolutely delicious... just a touch spicy with pickles anda sauce that just made it... potato salad was unlike any I've ever had... truly splendid. the staff was very friendly andfast. Momma?s breakfast is the best in town and I?ve had it all at this point. I went to check it out for the first time today after... seeing a post about it online. I ordered the Long-Hauler and it was fantastic. Not only was my food perfectly cooked to order,and extremely delicious, but the service was outstanding. Tammy is about as friendly and courteous as it gets. If you haven?tmet Tammy yet, you need to. She?ll make you feel right at home. I was surprised as well to see the kitchen manager, Dion, comeout and greet us at the table. He introduced himself and asked us how our food was. Great patio & everyone was wearing masks.10/5 stars. Food was delicious but the service was horrible. Waitress seemed out of it. Our food came out late. Kitchen staff tried to... remedy the issue but they we left more confused with her trying to explain everything. So I say to order and pick up your foodbut double check to see if your order is right. Feb. 17th I called in an order- the bartender took the order. He was very kindand professional. My order was made correctly and in a rapid manner. The atmosphere inside was very loud but I can tell thepatrons were there to watch a car race and get drinks (lots of drinks). My food again was delicious. We ordered the lemonpepper wings. So I changed the rating from 3 stars to 4 (the food speaks for itself). Read more
Very cool place. Like a cheers environment. I am excited to see where where the owners take it. The food is amazing. The owners... are awesome and the staff are down to earth and can't get better for a laid back environment. Momma?s has the perfect combo of great food and that down home environment that makes a bar/restaurant really awesome. Got the... cheese curds and the corn fritters for apps and both were perfectly tasty starters. Followed it up with a small order of wingsand tried the burger and both were exceptional. Top it all off with great, attentive service and they?ve got themselves arepeat diner. Would recommend to friends and family! Read more
