I remember the really good and the really bad, so I only review places that fall into one of those two categories. If you want... half a step up from fast food with terrible customer service and an ambience that has taken a nosedive over the years, *that*place is a little further up the street. This is not that place. I've both eaten in and ordered takeout on several occasions. The staff is incredibly attentive and kind; they make you feel welcomed and appear to genuinely enjoy being there. That alone isa rarity these days at restaurants. The food is flavorful and well-presented, not thrown onto a plate by someone who wishesthey were anywhere but there (with an open kitchen you can actually watch the chefs in action!) Yes, the prices are a bit higherthan what you may find at other local restaurants but NOT unreasonable or any higher than you'd find at an above-averageestablishment. My meals cost about the same as those I had at a "Modern Mexican" restaurant in Mississippi (they were also worthevery penny spent.) If your sole focus is the price, you'll miss out on a superb culinary experience. And, the few extradollars are completely worth it to support this family-owned restaurant. I'd often walk by while they were building the space, waiting for the day they'd open. Now that they're part of the neighborhood, I will gladly patronize them, even if it meanspaying a couple of dollars more than at the average fast food - sorry, "fast casual" - restaurant. Read more

The food is delicious, high quality and very abundant. The service is excellent. The orders came out very quickly. The... presentation and the taste of the food reminds me of the best Mexican dishes I have tried in my travels through Mexico. Irecommend the churros!...you can't miss it. Thanks to the owners of Inches Tacos for their kindness and friendliness. I will beback very soon from Texas. Read more

I have been waiting for this establishment to open for a while and it did not disappoint one bit. Amazing decor and atmosphere.... The staff was beyond welcoming and wanted to make sure each patron is greeted and recognized. I went for lunch and dinner in thesame day. The Al Pastor tacos had me hooked. Amazing flavor and spice on the meat and the pineapple on top was the chef?s kiss. The chicken tacos needed a bit of salt but still had great flavor. The steak taco was very tender and the sauce on it pairedwell. The vegan taco was just as delicious as the rest. Never thought I would ever type that sentence. The margaritas aresmaller, as stated in other reviews, but they pack a punch and the selection of tequila is top notch. Our bartender suggestedafter the meal that we have espresso martinis and the churros. That topped off the evening very well. Overall if you?re lookingfor a great Harbor Town experience and a taste of family recipes then you need to visit Jose and the staff at Inches Taco Shop! Read more

The food was very good, the server was amazing and could tell the staff really care. I was very excited that a Mexican... restaurant/bar had opened within walking distance of where I live. However, the prices are insanely high for the portionsize. The margaritas cost $12 but are literally served in small plastic cups smaller than a solo cup. Went with a group offriends with the idea of hanging out and grabbing a few drinks. We all had 1, amazed by the prices, enjoyed our food andleft. Typically chips are given at a Mexican restaurant and the drinks are large, this was our biggest disappointment. Alsowater cost $1.50. I enjoyed the food and may visit again in the future; however, I can not justify making it a regular spot toeat due to the incredibly high prices. Read more

Inches is the newest restaurant to open in Harbor Town and it?s a delight! The patio is fantastic and dog friendly. The chefs... are a family that have been doing it for a long time. I?ve had the tacos, burritos, and chimichangas and would recommend all ofthem depending on your mood. The tacos are a little lighter and bright, the burrito is stuffed full and delicious, and thechimichanga is a smorgasbord of cheese and awesomeness. Have a drink at the bar (I?d recommend the strawberry margarita) andenjoy their fresh made chips with guacamole. You won?t regret it! Read more

So happy this place opened! I was totally impressed by the quality of the food. The loaded nachos and tacos were delicious! The... atmosphere and outdoor patio are also very nice. All the workers were very friendly and the service was great! I would?ve giventhe restaurant five stars, but it was pretty expensive for the amount of food you get. Not a big deal though. I will definitelybe back! Read more
