We were told this was the best place to eat in Memphis. The food did not disappoint! Curt was one of the best servers I have... ever had. He had worked there for 10 years and knew everything about the menu and the restaurant. The wagyu NY York steak wasone of the best I have ever had. The plate came to the table sizzling and you could cut it with your fork. All of the sides wegot were delicious you really can't go wrong with any of them. Read more

I met a friend from out of town for dinner, we had an amazing time. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and the... service. We both had drinks, our server recommended some delicious cocktails for us. The steaks we had were also very nicelycooked. And we had a side to accompany. I love how the steaks stand alone on their own, even if you don?t get a topper sauce. Ilike those sauces, but I also appreciate the chefs flavor. The restaurant will valet for you, which we love. And the salads arealso delicious! There?s probably not a thing you won?t like! Read more

No visit to Memphis is complete without eating at Folk?s Folly?s which has been there since 1977! Fine dining combined with... outstanding hospitality and service. We had reservations for 5:30 pm and we ate way too much. SOO WORTH IT! Appetizers? Bleucheese mountain, she crab soup and French onion soup. Bleu cheese mountain is kettle style potato chips smothered in bleucheese, scallions and diced red pepper. It also has bleu cheese fondue. The she-crab soup had lots of crabmeat and it tastedsuper fresh. The French onion soup was hearty! For entree we ordered a petite filet mignon. 8 oz of trimmed meat you could cutwith your fork. With a side of delicious peppercorn sauce. We also ordered one of their ?off the menu? specials: 3 small beefmedallions each topped with a different thing: one had the peppercorn sauce, the other one had the bleu cheese fondue and thethird one had Holland side sauce. For sides, which are brought to the table family style, we got potatoes au gratin and thetwice baked potato which was on the XL size! We didn?t have room left for dessert unfortunately so we will have to go back formore! Expensive? Yes. Well worth it? Most definitely! Read more

Came here to celebrate my birthday with my close friends and was treated like royalty! We had a private room which was wonderful... for us. It was like a small party. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong! Our server was excellent! He took reallygood care of us. We were still there when they closed and they didn't try to rush us. They let us enjoy ourselves. ???? Read more

My experience was nothing short of spectacular. The bartender prepared my cocktail perfectly. The waitress was very... knowledgeable of the menu and her suggestions were appropriate for my palate. My steak was delicious. The sides are big enoughto share among several guests. The key lime pie topped off my meal. Reservations are definitely needed unless you don't mindbeing at the bar. You should add Folk's Folly on your go to list. They will not disappoint. Read more

Wouldn't dream of going to a steak house and not ordering a steak, so I had the ribeye. The cut was phenomenal! Tender, juicy,... flavorful! I had it with a side of potatoes which were well seasoned. The service was okay. I'd likely return when in townagain, on a rare occasion when I'm craving red-meat. Read more

What a place! We had reservations for 8:15 but got there at 7:30 and asked if we could sit at the bar. They said sure, just for... a drink or for dinner? We said just a drink and we'd keep our reservation. Well, it didn't take 5 minutes in the bar room and wewanted to eat at the bar. So we did. Phenomenal pianist, David the bartender and just great vibes in there. We saved ourappetites and ordered half the menu! The calamari had the perfect texture and batter and the tenderloin tartare was perfectlyoiled and seasoned. French onion and she crab soups were a win. Get the lamb chops! Just do it. We enjoyed the spinach casseroleand creole corn. I'd say the jalapeño mac was the weakest link, but it was good. I've never had a key lime pie of that texture, amazing. Fantastic experience. Read more
