This was my family?s first time here and actually trying ?authentic? ramen. Will was great! He explained everything to us and... constantly checked to make sure everything tasted good and if we were ok. The flavors are stacked in these bowls absolutely delicious I opted for the pork based broth, straight noodles, pork belly, wood... ear mushrooms, scallions, egg, and dumplings with the mild spice I had this before and couldn?t wait to eat it again!! Thechicken appetizer is superbly battered and it?s served with a spiced mayo sauce, we also had the fish cake dessert with icecream this was charming as it looks like a fish and tasty and the same time. Mmmmm the food is delicious. I absolutely love that they have vegan options. As well as they let us order plane French fries for... our 10 month old. Ooooo and after you eat lunch or dinner. Make sure you saved some room for dessert! The green tea cheese cakeis so delicious ???? If we didn't live 2 hours away, I would have bought a hole green tea cheese cake from them. In the past, whenever I would order ramen in a restaurant, most of the time I would be so full that I wouldn?t bother to order... dessert. However, after trying Flame Ramen?s shoyu ramen, takoyaki, bao with garlic (love the garlic, by the way) and matcha icecream mochi with my big brother figure, I must say that all of the food was extremely satisfying and served quite nicely atdecent prices. I can understand why it?s so popular here in Memphis. You really are paying for top quality food here. Not tomention that I LOVE the ?Naruto? and ?Godzilla? references at that place, tee hee! By the way, since I?m a huge fruit fanatic,I would really like if my mochi was served with an adorable strawberry slice on top next time. We love Flame Ramen! We both ordered the Vegan Paradise and it was delicious. Definitely needed some spice but they provide the... chili flakes. The dressing on the house salad was so yummy and not the standard ?house ginger? dressing you get many otherplaces. Atmosphere is cozy and busy, feels like a big city ramen place. We stopped here for lunch the other day. The interior is very nice. Service was absolutely stellar, all the staff were very... quick and attentive. Definitely five stars for the service. The food was a little more mediocre unfortunately. I ordered one ofthe vegan ramens, and my husband ordered the supreme, and both of us found the food lacking in depth of flavor.
