We visited this location after voting as it is close to home. I ordered something I had never had and was unimpressed but I... can't hold that against them. I had an issue and as soon as I brought it to their attention it was immediately corrected. Myissue was when I got the bill. At the bottom it listed the gratuity in percentage at the bottom of the ticket. Ours at 15% wasless than $5. The ticket listed it as $15. It listed 18% as $18 and 20%as $20. I pointed this to the young lady ringing me up.She pulled tickets for the past week and all were the same. A man approached and we assumed he was the manager because he hadbeen directing staff. Ha asked if something was wrong and I showed him and he said "Good". I pointed out that it could bethought of as trying to cheat his customers and he said "I dont care". I asked what would happen is someone took the ticket to anews station and they ran a story on it as it would make the restaurant look bad. He said "Let them I dont care. Have a goodnight" He walked off and we walked out. We wont be returning. Read more
Server was very nice but honestly some of the weirdest American-ized Mexican food I've had. Broccoli and cauliflower in a... burrito? Carrots in a taco salad? Beware the phrase "mixed vegetables" because it includes exactly zero of the vegetables you'dexpect. Read more
Went to celebrate myself as a mother. It was so good. The rice was moist, the avocado was fresh, and steak was juicy and tender.... I got a steak quesodillo. And the drinks are the best peach/mango on the rocks! Um um um and going back as soon as possible! Read more
Food was delicious! Had chicken, cheese, and rice which was prepared to perfection, modestly priced ($13), and largely... portioned. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and everything was very clean. Weconsidered guacamole dip but ordered the cheese dip instead and I would have liked if the salsa had more cilantro. This was myfirst time visiting. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Read more
Our experience with this restaurant to be our first visit there is horrible. The sweet tea tasted like it was old and molded..... my date asked for a fresh glass and even told the waitress that it did not taste fresh, but it did not help, the second glasswas the same. The tea was really not good at all!! Also, she ordered beef enchiladas and instead of receiving what was ordered,she was given chicken enchiladas. I don?t know what caused the mix up other than the cooks not paying attention. The waitresswas nice about it though, and corrected it promptly. On the glasses of sweet tea are slices of lemon, and mine was disgusting,you would think the person who placed it on the glass would have more of an eye open to detail and noticed it was a bad slicebut no. The steak I ordered was not fit for a dog to eat it was nothing but gristle and fat! Overall experience was not a goodone. Would not recommend this place! Read more
Service was amazing, food was absolutely delicious and drinks were good. We definitely recommend visiting this place if you?re... looking for good Mexican food. Every single thing hit the spot so perfectly. Definitely get the queen if you?ve got space! Iwrote too early!!! Absolutely over the top Mexican restaurant!!! A Memphis staple and still going over 30 years!! Love this place
