This place is legit! Awesome burgers, but fried, not grilled, in their 100 year old grease, strained daily. The fries are great... as well. The chicken strips are enormous, awesome flavor! Definitely nothing for a low calorie diet, but very tasty andaffordable. Service was great as well. Read more
I had to try the century old grease! This is a Memphis legend that I had some how missed. It's definitely worth the stop. The... burger was great, but don't make the same mistake I did and order a single. You'll want at least a double. Fries were great,drinks were a little on the small side, but considering the price, it was a bargain, especially on Beale Street! The atmospherewas fun with a retro diner vibe. We visited on a Saturday night around 5PM and the wait wasn't too bad, took us about 20 minutes in line until we got seated. I was very disappointed in the food. I assume most of the great reviews are those under the influence of alcohol or recovering... from the night before. I will say my fries were fresh and hot but the bread on my burger was cold. My burger had no flavor andwas small in size. I paid $11.00 for dollar items that are on the .99 cent menu at other big chains. I will say the customerservice was good but the food was not. Read more
