Food was ok, but not great. I called ahead and placed an order of pork fried rice to carry out. I was told that they didn't have... any pork???? So I said chicken fried rice would be fine. I was surprised when I walked in the door and saw that the dining roomlooked rather dingy. It has been years since I had been there as my wife usually picks up the orders. My memories of a brightlydecorative dining room with table cloths and flowers, bustling with customers and waiters we're crushed. When! I got home andlooked at my order, it looked rather sad. There were no green peas or carrots in the rice. However, one bright spot were thespring rolls with the Chinese mustard standard at all restaurants serving Chinese were good, but I suspect that the spring rolljust came out of a box where they had been delivered frozen by a local food distributor. The original owner died and his wife and kids sold the restaurant. The new owner assumed the name. I lived in the area for 22... years and frequently visited the restaurant. The food was very good and fresh. They gave you a lot for a reasonable price.Stopped by to try the food from the new owner and it was horrible!!! Very bland, small portions, just awful. The beef broccoliwas terrible! The sauce was watery and the rice was old! So don?t waste your money, go somewhere else!!!! Read more

Owner have changed so the food and the taste plus prices went up. Last time I went, I noticed New faces So I wasn?t sure if I... wanted to order but i went ahead and made the order same thing I have been always getting, salted baked shrimp with fried riceand teriyaki chicken , I figured maybe the food and the cooks were still the same but I was wrong, that food they gave me wasterrible and tasted really bad and looked different. It is really sad to see this place going down. I have been going there forthe past 20 years drive all the way from Bartlett. I will definitely miss the old China house! Read more
