The restaurant is a nice one. We were 5 people and went there for a dinner without any reservations. For this we had to sit near... the bar area, which was also pretty nice dining area. Love love loved this place! The food was really delish! Some of the best salmon I’ve had in a long time! The crab claws were... to die for. Especially the sautéed crab claws! They also have really good fried green tomatoes with a dipping sauce that willleave your mouth watering! I can’t wait to bring my daughter to check it out! Read more

The service was awesome the food was awful. The fried oysters were battered in a heavy chicken batter not sure what that sauce... was. The French fries were cooked in old oil taste like the same you used for tenders. The ham was salty and thick. This is myfirst visit since Covid. Maybe the selections were poor, but there was mainly sausage no crab or crawfish to taste. I love theatmosphere but the food has got to get better. Read more
Char was a magnificent experience. Great location, plenty of parking, safe and well lit. Atmosphere was charming and romantic.... Staff was professional, courteous and eager to please. The whole experience was phenomenal! The crab cakes are the best I've had in the Memphis area. Fried oysters can be tough but... these were the most tender fried oysters I've ever had. My friend celebrated her birthday here and we had a great dinner. Our server was very friendly. She kept our drinks full and our... food came out quickly.
