Very good! Grabbed breakfast with a friend last week and it was solid. Lots of options from which to choose. I had the brisket... kolache and egg and brisket burrito. The Texas bbq sauce was killer good as well. They have sweet pastry options for breakfastas well - Kolaches and cinnamon rolls. I?ll definitely be back. Read more
Some of the best bbq in Memphis covering Memphis and Texas styles and located in a cool old house. I had a jumbo brisket... sandwich and a couple sides which more than hit the spot. 3 types of sauce available (Texas, Memphis, andCarolina/Vinegar) Bakery in the back left with cookies, kolaches, cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos and more. Disgusting. Probably the worst barbecue I've had in my 40 years of being on this planet. I had to look around to see if other... people were enjoying it because nothing tasted good. Not one single barbecue sauce they have tasted good. It got worse and worsethrough every flavor. The meat was fatty and dry. The baked potato salad was not gross. And I've had three to four barbecueplaces during my trip there, and this is just a warning for everybody driving through that, this is not the place for true bbq.I threw away everything I bought. Incredibly delicious! I got my own pulled pork and sampled a friend's brisket and both had fabulous flavor. The sides were... generously sized and the brisket pinto beans were my favorite thing that I ate at Bain. The service is great, and the place isvery clean. Read more
We where in and out with our food in less than 10 minutes! Shout out to the staff! We got 2 pulled pork sandwiches combos and a... brisket combo along with a link of sausage. The pulled pork was great and the brisket was excellent. The cheese and macaroni wasgreat and the slaw was pretty good. Will definitely go back! Read more
A delicious Texas style BBQ joint is exactly what Memphis needed to add to its historic BBQ scene. Bain Barbecue and Bakery... serves up some of the best brisket in town. The massive pork ribs are also worth trying and the beef ribs must be good becausethey were sold out by 4pm, I?ll try and get them next time. I went for the brisket, but they were out of brisket...bummer. We had the Spare Ribs and Smoked Turkey and we got all of the... sides: Pinto Beans, Mac and Cheese, Lime Coleslaw and Potato Salad. The meat was tender and the sauces are spicy. Read more
