Went to Atan for a surprise birthday dinner, the host at the door explains to us a group of 18 could not be seated together... because they only seat 10 people per table. So after pleading and explaining that we didn?t care about the separation in thetables we just wanted to sit together she finally gave in. Also while sitting another group of people come in and they were aCaucasian group of people with 20 people. I watched as she seated them with no problem or explanation which was verydisappointing to me because we were given so many problems before being seated. I really don?t appreciate being treateddifferently because we were paying customers who deserved the same treatment as anyone who comes through their door. Me and my friend came to a tan today around 2. This lady seated us and she appeared to be nice. My friend wanted to get sushi... with crawfish but she got it thinking it was going to be good. Yes she was aware of the price. When she tasted the food it wasnot worth 12 dollars for. For me I had nothing to do with the argument that occured. I asked could I order sushi for mom becauseshe hasn't eaten. Earlier while eating my sushi I noticed my ginger tasted a lil funny but I didn't think nun of it so I orderedmy mom's food. As my mom is finishing her food at home she says omggg this taste and smell like pee. This is absolutelyunacceptable. If it is going to be like this I will go somewhere else. Had dinner with a group of friends around the hibachi grill. The food was just decent. The steak was over cooked and tough. The... only thing we really like was the ginger dressing on the salad and the teriyaki sauce. It was extremely hot and smoky in thehibachi side of the restaurant. This was our first time visiting this place for dine-in. It was really great though! The hibachi chef was fantastic and the... food even better!!! We got tempura veggies as well and we loved those too. The sushi was also beautifully prepared for us,although, I wish the menu gave us better descriptions, as we would have chosen different ones. I CANNOT rate this place high enough. I've never had hibachi that was so good, my mouth tingled with every bite! The portions... were excellent, the flavor was excellent, the SOUP was excellent. All around a fantastic experience. We went as a 50th birthdaycelebration for my aunt and had an amazing time. It was also the first dining out experience I've had in years thanks to Covidand have been very anxious about doing so, but i felt very comfortable and safe with their precautions. 100/10. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. The food is always great, love the egg rolls and their spicy mustard. Never had... a bad meal here and the service is always fast and they are always so nice. Great place for a quick lunch and they have anexcellent lunch special each day. Highly recommend. Read more
