The Chicken Parm sandwich was…. absolute garbage. No taste, no seasoning and the chicken was cheap (chewy bits, not actual... chicken breast). And the guy was straight up rude. Lot of new options in Melrose. Nice costs nothing. Maybe it’s because Idiscovered Frankie Slice in Peabody. That is a chicken parm! I wish I had my 13 bucks back. the company needs to improve to winmy business again. Read more
I wouldn't mind coming back if the other pizza spots in Melrose are busy. I ordered online during peak dinnertime and the... order, instead of taking half an hour as estimated, took a full hour. That said, the staff are friendly and the pizza tastesgood. It helps that the topping portions, at least for the large, are generous. My order needed some more salt to taste rightwhich was unexpected but easily fixed at home. Read more
Our first visit to Petrone's Pizza was great. When we ordered a large veggie pizza, the owner told us we were in for something... special. He wasn't kidding. The Works is good. I order a separate pizza with mushrooms but they forgot the mushrooms. They were pretty swamped when I went... there. Maybe in the rush, they forgot the mushrooms.
