The food was mediocre. The french toast was awful, one bite and in the trash it went. The bread they used looks to be Italian... loaf bread. I received end pieces. The end pieces of the bread were soggy from too much butter, which should not be spread bythe establishment. No syrup was supplied. Read more

Hands down, one of the best Diners/breakfast spots in the Boston area...Certainly the best one around the Melrose area, and I've... been to my fair share of diners around. Service: Always exceptional and very friendly. Food: Always consistent and DELICIOUS.I basically regret every time I try to branch out and try a different breakfast spot. My wife and I look at each other after thefirst bite and agree My Diner is better! Parking: Yes it's limited but the place is downtown Melrose so that's to beexpected. Restaurant Space: Small but cozy, expect a wait as a result, but we never seem to wait more than 5-10 minutes andmost our trips there (couple of times a month) we didn't have to wait. We have two small children and that's not an issue forus. Restrooms: Always clean BUT, you will have to go through the kitchen and down a flight of steps to get there. Pricing:VERY reasonable especially given the portion size. Certainly the best around this area given the superior quality. Like a lot ofthings there was an increase in prices since COVID which was disappointing but understandable given everything else around alsowent up. My 5 stars is regarding the food only which is what matters the most in my opinion. Read more
