We got in lucky since it was Elvis night and there was one table left to fit our 7 people. So first I?d suggest calling in to... make sure you don?t need a reservation. The spicy snow crab was great, mom liked the coconut shrimp with coconut sauce. Fish nchips was good. We came for the crab and wasn?t disappointed. The New England chowder was really good, really good not toopeppery like some places. They are a little light staffed, but Melissa was great and juggled us well with all the others and wewere glad we tried it out. Show up early if it?s a weekend and your not calling ahead. Read more
Have eaten at Jake's twice since it re-opened. Melissa is an excellent waitress! She got our orders correct, brought beverage ... refills promptly, made sure we were happy with our meals. Great food both times: Shrimp Tacos with black beans & rice the 1sttime and Crab Dip Nachos the 2nd time. Friends had Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Alfredo, Fish/Chips - all 3 enjoyed their meal. What a great and chill restaurant. Perfect for a night out or a quick bite to eat. Waitress was amazing and friendly and took... our orders in a quick and professional manner. Food was amazing for the price ( I reccomend the Phillie cheese steak sandwich).Happy hour is always a must as you get cheaper drinks. All in all, very friendly and reliable service, great staff, great foodand prices are extremely good. Would definitely come back and most definitely reccomend. Read more
The wait time between our drink order and getting our menus was long (30 minutes). When we finally got the menu and ordered it... was another 20 to 30 minutes. My fish n chip was so salty it was like eating a salt lick the French fries were cold, anothermember of our party ordered the same meal and thier fish was raw.our waiter was new but very nice and accommodating andapologized for the quality of the food and the long wait.Had to wait over 45 minutes after we were through with our meal to getour check only to find out it was wrong,was charged for items not ordered, only took two tries to get it straight. The onlysaving grace was the band that they had performing there they were wonderful. Read more
I have a 1 year old who I am an advocate for learning through different experiences. This night was so magical for her. The... staff was super friendly and supportive of her walking around, holding the menu and interacting with her. The cooks includedwhich gave such a huge impact for her. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed the crab nachos, chicken Parmesan which was to diefor. They also had a girl group called Double Trouble who sang my daughter?s requests of her favorite songs. On our way out theysang from their heart to her and it was so touching. I wish I was local because I would have called this place home and havebecame a regular with how friendly the staff was. The staff was great. The seafood pot was SO over cooked, very disappointed. Even the stuffed mushrooms app came out seeming like... thrice baked. The karaoke was a little too loud to hold a conversation. Not impressed, time your veggies and seafood to notovercook everything! Read more
