Fantastic service, great location, authentic meal. Be prepared to enjoy a leisurely dinner. This is not fast or cheap food -... it?s a real, home cooked meal with quality ingredients. It took about an hour for our food to arrive on a normal night (no waitwhen we arrived) but it was well worth it! The side dinner salad was excellent and the dressing out of this world - not astandard boring ranch or Italian. The rolls were great and the seasoned butter was an amazing detail. We missed daylight hoursbut are looking forward to a return trip. Read more

Very nice staff and food was delicious. The paté was wonderful. On a Tuesday the place was busy so I can imagine Fri or Sat... there will be a wait. Overall it is definitely a place to visit again. Read more

Great service, authentic German food, and if you are lucky, dolphins swimming in the Indian River Lagoon on the dock out back.... Beware of that mustard. It will take your head off if you use too much. It is fantastic place. Read more

We visited Cafe Coconut Cove Saturday evening for supper. This is not a perfect 5* score, but I believe in rounding up.... :0) Location and parking: 5* long driveway with parking on either side. No blocked spots and many are paved. Location is quitepicturesque on the intracoastal with outdoor dining and a dock (unfortunately closed for our visit). Service and ambiance: 5*due to friendly, non rushed server, inside has a handful of interesting antiques. Dining room is intimate with seating forapproximately 30, which explains why they usually have a wait time of about an hour (no reservations). For our visit, we werequoted 45 minutes to an hour wait on the phone, but it only ended up being 20 minutes for a party of 3 at about 7:30 pm. Iimagine it is difficult to estimate how long each party will stay. Food: 4*. This is a tough one, and I have to give 4* due toa few factors. First, the prices are fairly high (mid $20s to mid $30s for most entrees). Entrees come with complimentary breadservice (however, no pumpernickel nor pretzel bread) and salad-- a small bowl divided into thirds, greens with a cherrytomato, coleslaw, another vinegar-based slawlike salad, and a beet slice. I would have preferred just the garden salad. Thecreamy herb salad dressing was exceptional. Surprisingly there was no German potato salad. The Bearnaise Schnitzel was amazing,5 star quality, but the Spice Rubbed Beef Tenderloin (shoulder unavailable) with coffee/cocoa dry rub but the flavors wereoverwhelmed by the BBQ sauce, maybe a fruit compote or chutney would have made a better accompaniment. My husband had themushroom melt, and he said the mushrooms were very good. Portion sizes were smaller than expected for the price point. I do likethat they offer a few combination plates, and I think that might be a good idea to order with a close friend. My daughter hadthe Konig Ludwig beer which was savory and paired well with the schnitzel. We decided not to order dessert, but maybe next Read more
