Worst steak and shake I have ever been too. The staff ignores the customers and everything is on kiosks so the employees are... talking away in the kitchen with little food coming out the window. I ordered online and stood and waited over 25 minutes for asimple steak burger. Just 1 single meal. I watched a party of 6+ people waiting for someone to greet them and seat them astheirs no signs saying seat yourself. And last time I checked steak and steak was nicer not less tan Mc Donald?s. At leastpeople who choose not to order via kiosk there can order with a real person and get greeted upon walking into the restaurant. Read more

I haven't even gotten my food yet and I hate the experience already. Must use a kiosk to order which is fine for generic fast... food places. Asked for printed receipt and all we got was noise. Then when ordering was complete the machine asks for a tip.For what? I got my own drinks and food. Then went to restroom and it was filthy. I guess the kiosks forgot to clean them. I haveto go get my food. More to come. Okay, I'm back. I have to admit despite my dislike of the termination of table servers, thefood was really good. The shoestring fries were fresh and crispy. Went during a light rain storm. The ceiling leaks water everywhere. Green and black mold on the ceiling tiles. Right next to... air intakes, so it's pumping the moldy air all throughout. Bathroom looks and smells like it was cleaned 2 yrs ago. Floors weresticky all throughout. This place needs some serious attention. Read more
Steak and Shake! What a treat! That may sound funny to some people, especially if you live in a state where Steak and Shake is... available anytime. But for me, it's a rarity to find a steak and shake when I travel. I had no idea that they were inFlorida. I really enjoy their food. It's affordable and delicious I'm not a huge fan of digital ordering in the restaurant.I'd rather talk to someone in person and have them take my order, although that's probably more expensive. Nevertheless,personal human contact is always preferable over self checkout. Read more
The food at Steak n Shake is always consistently good which is great to be able to count on. This store was understaffed so... orders were coming out slowly. I really miss the table service that used to be part of the experience. I was also frustrated bythe ordering experience as I was trying to use a free reward that I received and could not get the system to allow me to redeemit. Since they were short on ppl, no one could really help me with the order system. I must have just messed up. Read more
A great place to stop for a steak-burger I have not visited this site for many months and did not know what to expect. It is... located at the entrance to the Avenues at Viera. It can be a little tricky to get to since the entrance is close to a busyintersection. There is parking around the restaurant and in the adjacent parking lots if those spaces are full. Compared topre-covid times, this has changed a great deal. You enter and order on one of 4 computer screens. Ordering was simple andstraightforward but there was no waiter or waitress to take or deliver your order. It seems cleaner and quicker this way. Ourorder was out within 5 minutes of our sitting down. They call your number and you pick it up. The staff was very friendly andanswered any and all questions. One even came out to help a person order on the touch screens. It is the cleanest I have everseen the restaurant and the food was, as before, excellent. The prices were reasonable. We got two hamburger meals for $12.Overall a great experience that I highly recommend for anyone in the area that wants a delicious meal in a clean restaurant at agood price. Enjoy! Read more
This location constantly closes hours before they're listed time. It always seems to be the same employee that wears a Rasta... cap. Before she started working I never had this problem and I used to come to this location 3 to 4 times a week after gettingoff of my very late shifts at work. Now I can't even come by at 10:00 on a Saturday night when they're supposed to close atmidnight and they just post little tiny paper signs that they printed out on the office probably after their manager went home.If I were the owner of this steak and shake I would be very concerned about where my profits were going because in the 60seconds that I was in the parking lot me and three other vehicles tried to get food at this location.
