Love this local gem! Everything here is yummy. The portions are large, never leave hungry. You get the same fantastic food and... portion whether you dine in or get takeout. Everyone here is very friendly. Definitely recommend the eggplant parmesan. Thetiramisu and cannolis are both amazing, if you're picking one, go with the tiramisu. My only "complaint " if you can call itthat, is the powder parmesan on the caesar salad, that always ruins it. Read more
Really wanted to enjoy their pizza, but the last 2 attempts have been discouraging. Ordered the Grandma Sicilian last night. ... So disappointing. I don't think they bothered to add the olive oil to the pan before cooking. Crust turned out undercooked andchewy, rather than crisp and crunchy. For a $25.00 pie, that's unacceptable. That's too bad, as they're super convenient stopon the way home from the beach. Read more
Excellent pizza, nice people. Crust not too hard, not too soft, not too thin, not too thick. And not burnt like can happen at... other local NY style pizza restaurants. And flavorful! Had the sausage, broccoli raab and mozzarella pizza- yum! Meatballswere good, loved the marinara. I'm really fussy about Italian food. Will be back! Read more
Sorry took me so long to comment.. but have to say this place is definitely a hidden jewel! Seen it in this plaza for a few... months and finally stopped in to give it a try.. I've always joked ' this is just like momma made' but this place was reallylike momma's cooking.. the restaurant gives u a warm and homey feel with the staff right there to take care of you answeringquestions and giving suggestions.. To say the food was incredible is instating the skill and time the chef put into making it..Made a request on the entree I ordered but shortly after after the server came back to the table and said the chef had made asuggestion.. I went with the suggestion and wasn't disappointed.. The cannolis were out of this world . The filling was rich anddelicious.. Definitely will be back want to give there pizzas a try as well as some of the other dishes on the menu.. would andwill definitely be recommending this place to anyone looking for a a great home cooked Italian dinner . We've only had their pizza so far, but it's the best around... And there is no shortage of pizza places around. Staff is always... on the ball, friendly and reliable. It's a pizza place, not a restaurant with linen service, but plenty of seats. They made itthrough the pandemic, and like all other small businesses it was a difficult time. We're so glad they're still here, we order apizza every week and plan to try other menu items. Yum! Read more
