Stopped in here after my laser treatment at revive next door a few days ago. It happened to be about half hour before they... opened but the door was unlocked so I popped my head in and was very friendly welcomed and told they would be happy to make mesome food even though they technically weren't open. Which is way above and beyond anything I would have expected especially inViera. The owners or workers there were all very happy to explain the menu and I ordered a burger with sweet potato puffs. Holycow, this is seriously the best burger I've had in my life. And the sweet potato puffs came with a great spicy sauce. Iliterally dumped the entire container of garlic aioli on my burger It was so good. Zero complaints, I'll definitely berecommending this place to all my friends and coming back every time I do a spa treatment next door. Absolutely delicious! Would definitely go back. Incredibly friendly staff and well kept restaurant. I had the chicken skewers... entree with sweet potato puffs. It came with 4 sauces. The chicken and veggies on their own were delicious. The sauces took itover the edge. Menu is unique and extensive. A must try. Read more
First time eating here! Service was awesome and very helpful. The owner was super attentive to customers. The food was... spectacular. We ordered the sweet and spicy ribs, a Hawaiian salad, and the Lava burger with sweet potato puffs. The ribs weregreat. Just the right level of spicy for me, though I will say I would've preferred them to be just a tad bit less sweet. That'smy personal preference though and does not detract from the overall tastiness of the dish. My mom enjoyed her salad and I verymuch enjoyed the burger ????????. My one suggestion would to be to consider expanding the non-alcoholic drink menu to includebeverages outside of fountain drinks and Gatorade. Maybe lemonades or fresh fruit juices would be amazing! It was our first time trying this place today. We had the Ribs, shrimp skewers w/ bean n rice, and the sweet potato puffs.... Everything was absolutely amazing. We got dipping sauce for the puffs which were both really good and the puffs were goodwithout the dipping sauce as well. I Loved the rice n beans that came with the skewers. We met the owner of the place and satthere and talked to him for a little bit. He is a very friendly guy and even gave us some options on what to try on his menubased on what we were wanting. The options he gave us did not disappoint. The lady that took our order was very friendly andhelpful. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. As with my other reviews, here is an honest review. At Island IX, they serve mainly burgers with a twist. These are some of the... best burgers you will taste, nor Five Guys, Culvers, or Red Robin will have these quality ingredients. You can taste everyflavor of the burger, and the staff is friendly. Family restaurants are some of the best places because they care. They alsoserve seafood and lamb as a burger, which is excellent. The kettle chips are the best you'll taste, and if you enjoy a spicyburger, I recommend the Lava Burger. They serve beer and have TVs with games on them if you want to watch while enjoying yourfood. Update, 4 stars: I tried them out again because I saw that they had began serving lobster rolls on Facebook. I completely... understand the cost of seafood is high right now, but $18 for their tiny lobster roll is not worth it. It was super tasty tho!The roll is small as well as how little lobster they put inside. ???? You can tell in the photo how little the roll is on thetray and compared to the onion ring side. I swear, the cup of onion ring sauce is like 1/3 the size of the roll. I stillrecommend people to go because their burgers are fire. Just maybe skip the roll and sides. Previous review, 3 stars: I've beentwice in the past month, and the food is good. The staff are nice, and the location is clean. My only 2 complaints are theportion sizes are small for the price, and they were out of diet soda options both times I went. As you can tell by the photo,you only get 5 onion rings but the up charge for a drink and a side of onion rings is $5 on top of the $17 burger. I rated it 3stars mostly because of the high prices and small portions. Read more
