It's a great place to eat Mexican food if you enjoy large portions. The place is cool for getting together and enjoying the... drinks and food. I forgot to take pics of fajitas which tasted perfect. They do have friendly staff, but they aren't veryresponsive Read more
Service is hit or miss but the food and drinks are always great! I'm patient, so I still give it 5 stars
The food was subpar at best. The steak was dry and lacked flavor ;( When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I expect lot of flavor!... Just did not get that here. Additionally, my tacos came on flour tortillas, not traditional corn tortillas. They tasted dry,stale, and floury. Guacamole wasn?t bad. Salsa was decent, a little spicy, but good. Margarita (Tradicional) was excellent. Myserver was nice but she did forget to follow through a few times. No big deal, still tipped well! Hopefully next time will bebetter. I always give second chances - we just really love Mexican food. Try Habanero Grille if you want authentic mexicanflavor ! Just down the road from Sombrero. Have a great day! Read more
Thursday dinner and I am tired! What better way to relax than with some Mexican food ????????. As usual with most Mexican... restaurants the chips were fresh and the salsa was really good ????????????????. It had chunks of onions and cilantro andtomatoes and and ,,,,, good. My son said that on the weekends there is a mariachi band. Thursday evening it was not there, itwould have enhanced my otic nerve especially with the great tasting food. I ordered the chicken fajitas which was very good.Well seasoned and lots of sweet pepper and onions. Peppers were chopped in large chunks which was not to my liking if I have tocut them smaller and maybe a bit too much salt. Regardless it didn?t take away from the good taste. My wife loved the margaritaswhich I tasted and thought it reminded me of Old Town in San Diego, Good size and just enough alcohol. Kids love the El Pasoshrimp and burrito. Overall it was very good.
