North 28 Gastropub it?s a nice modern restaurant. The server told us the menu it?s made from scratch. As a starter, we ordered... French Onion Soup; it was so delicious. The Chicken and Waffles were so unique and different! The servers were very attentiveand accessible. Read more
Great drinks selection, nice vibe inside with their decorations and layout. The fries were really tasty and crunchy, the... prosciutto and arugula sandwich was also very good. While the restaurant seemed promising, I wouldn?t come back. The concept is refreshing and the interior is nice, but... unfortunately the food just had no flavor. The presentation was nice, but both the chicken and burger we ordered lacked anyseasoning. We tried to compensate by asking for Ranch and hot sauce, but our server was nowhere to be found for most of ourmeal. By the time she finally came back to the table, she let us know that they had neither of those items. That?s fine, but ifyou lack standard condiments, then the food has to be seasoned. 28 North exceeded my expectations in service and flavor. The chicken in the Coq Au Vin had beautifully crispy skin and the... mushroom burgundy gravy that accompanied it was perfect. It was my first time having poutine with duck meat and now I don'twant poutine any other way. Great selection of Florida beers too. Our server was Jewel.
