The wait staff were all very friendly & quick to give you a coffee refill, which is a must at breakfast! We both got the... California omelet, which was fluffy & full of cheese, bacon, tomato & avocado. Probably the best omelet I have ever had! I gotthe mashed potato cakes & Dad got the fried potatoes for the side - both were good. There was a nice selection for "toast" - Igot a biscuit with homemade jam (yum!) and Dad his favorite sourdough. We'll definitely come back and I want to try some pie! Read more

There isn?t a high enough rating for how good this place is. The cleanliness of the diner, friendliness of the staff, and taste... of the food are standouts at any type of place you go to let alone a diner. Read more

How fun, a nostalgic visit to the past with a 50's dinner themed dining area. The food was great, the price was average at about... $15 per person for breakfast, coffee was plentiful, and the bathrooms were clean. We got there at 8am and the dining area wasopen, by 9 it was pretty full. The servers were a pleasure to talk with. Handicap parking is available as well as seating. Theyalso had toys and such for the kids. This was not my first visit here and it won't be my last. Read more

Food was great. However server "Melissa" was an absolute nightmare. Super rude and condescending. Enough to make us decide to... not finish eating because her attitude was that upsetting. Will not be returning & have let my friends in the area who I hadcome to see know about this as well so they will not be eating here in the future either. Read more

This is the best place to have breakfast in all of medford! Prices are very reasonable the food cannot be beat and the service... is very cordial. They have a lot of gluten-free options with buckwheat pancakes and usually gluten-free toast. They're omeletsare to die for. They also have potato cakes that are delicious. Punky's is my go-to place! Cute retro vibe with a menu that offers some variety. Food was good, but could use some more spice. Biscuits were fluffy... although the gravy very plain. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Read more

Good food. Toast was a little burnt, but that was really the only downside. It has a real nice diner feel. Service was nice... though it did take a little bit for them to take our order and then our check. Overall good experience. Sidenote they do havethe "We stand with the Blue" flag out front. Take that how you will. Didn't really affect the food or service so it didn'tbother me, but it might be a plus or negative for some. Read more

There are a bunch of places that say home cooked goodness in their name or advertising. My parents were both amazing cooks so... for me "home cooked" has a much higher standard than most restaurants can achieve. Punky's Diner is in that rare class of homecooked flavor in everything I had. I honestly don't know if I could have made a burger that tasted better and the Marion BerryPie took me right back to my Grandma's kitchen. It goes without saying, I highly recommend this breakfast and lunch Cafe. Read more
