So we visited what appeared to be a newly remodel IHOP in South Medford Oregon... the entire visit was out of a horror... restaurant movie... 1 host 2 servers and 2 Cooks for a restaurant that is located on a super busy exit along the I-5 freeway. Iunderstand it is not the employees fault. But when you are giving mediocre service then yes they are part of the problem. 75 %of the restaurant was not seated because there was dirty tables. The host did not welcomed anyone coming in. The servers neveronce said good morning my name is .... a simple you ready ? And that's about it. Food was an absolute disaster. I honestly didnot take pictures because I was way to embarrassed to show the world the quality of a national brand food. Tbone steak lookedlike the thawed in the microwave and just seared on the flat top grill. We ordered MR and it was more like extra Rare. Alsoordered steak tips and eggs. Again the same thing. The meat was so chewy like they steamed in the grill instead of cookingit... a Nasty soap flavor to it made me realize the grill was not properly clean before cooking on it. Haven't been to an IHOP in YEARS!!! Waitress was absolutely fantastic, food was great, my little one couldn't get enough of the... fries!!! Fiance and 7 yr old son got grotesquely full on their delicious meals!!! Loved it! Read more

I ordered food here on Friday August 27th at around 4:45 pm . The girl that answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked if I... could place an order for strawberry and cream crapes and she sarcastically said sure in a very snooty tone. I asked if I couldhave a side of whip cream and she said sure again, this time even more snooty lol ???? When I got there I couldn?t tell whichone it was who answered the phone as there was two people at the front door there was only one other table that had people at itin the entire building so I know that they weren?t busy at the time that I called. I understand that we all have short staffingissues? But if you want return customers you have to either have one of the two things : A. Good food or B.Nice staff This placehad neither . My food was cold. There was no side of whip cream and no utensils like I asked. The bag leaked all over in my newtruck and it?s bright red and sticky !! Took 10 minutes to get a seat. Was only one guy working the floor on a Friday night when we came in at 8 pm and stayed open... until 12am. Half the restaurant was closed. There were only 3 employees there. Finally got my food at 840 and it was not thatgreat. My husbands bread was rock hard, Hash browns were cold. Our bill at the end showed no amounts just the total so no ideawhat he was being charged for what. Not a great experience at all. I feel for the guy running around all night by himselfthough.
