Four of us sat down tonight and all of us ordered a bunch of their snappy Pattie?s which are small burgers that come in a... variety of versions. We tried the Mexican , Californian, Texan, BBQ and a few others. They were all juicy burgers and inside anice crunchy buttered toast which was nice. But the flavors for each of the flavors was not too impressive. The Mexican was outfavorite with a nice limey cilantro zing to it. However the others just seemed to be one note wonders - the Texan patty just astrong BBQ sauce and the California patty was a strong mayonnaise profile. There was supposed to be cheese, avocado, crackedpepper, marinated tomato but I didn?t taste any of that. The fries we?re great. The drinks were strong. Next time I will try oneof the larger 1/3 burgers and hope that the chef is more careful about the balance of flavors. Read more
Normally a big fan of Snappy Patty?s, but some shady business with our takeout order tonight. We get the same thing every month... - field green salad and the turkey BLT. Tried to order tonight and the phone just kept ringing again and again, so I placed theorder online (and pre-paid). Get the food home and the salad had no blue cheese or candied walnuts (kind of the whole point),and even worse the turkey BLT wasn?t on the usual focaccia bread but a hamburger bun that was half the size. I feel like theyweren?t answering the phone on purpose knowing they were out of a bunch of stuff but happy to take my $40 for a sandwich andsalad via online ordering. I spend a lot of time defending the high prices at Snappy Patty?s to people, but can?t see myselfdoing that anymore.. Great drinks! Staff is accommodating and will do their best to make your favorite drinks if you don?t find one of their rotating... seasonal cocktails to be your preference. There?s a mix of fresh high end fare as well as a really approachable and comfortingbar food feel. The food never lacks flavor and is always amply sauced! (Nearly all sauces are made in house). There is no kidsmenu but there?s an array of approachable items geared towards children?s tastes not to mention one killer delicious hot dog! Ihosted a private event on their patio last summer for a surprise birthday party and the owner/chef was highly attentive todietary needs within our party. We showed up early to decorate and the owner was happy to let us bring in an outside dessert forour party. We were able to get a great price for 30 people so the we got all the food in the photo as well as 3 drink ticketsper person for a 3 hour booking. Staff was incredibly attentive to us on the patio while their bar and dining room were fullyfunctional. Would absolutely hold parties here in the future! Read more
