Looks like I will be coming here a lot more to sample things on their varied menu ? good variety of rolls, more traditional... Japanese restaurant offerings (udon, katsu, tempura, sashimi, sushi, etc.) and Korean (bibimbap - both cold and hot served instone bowls; bulgoggi; etc.) Also a nice lunch menu. My first visit and impression was very favorable. 06/24/22 update - secondlunch visit: ordered the chirashi bowl for $12.50. The sashimi was of acceptable quality but medium grade. Top grade fish wouldrun you at least $10 more; so their chirashi is fairly priced but not spectacular. The bento box I had on the first visit was abetter choice for lunch. Update: 09/05/22 - Takara is now one of my ?go-to?restaurants ? they have improved the lunch specialbento in terms of presentation, and everything I?ve ordered is well prepared. Read more

Takara was are go to restaurant every Tuesday for lunch then something happen it was not the same it went down hill vegetables... were spoiled egg was molded it went from a 10 to a1. Just awful sorry stay away. It is very disappointing Read more

Was going to hit this place and the sake place. Looking forward to it as the reviews were great. On the way saw the review... saying it was closed. Called and message says closed for renovation something like 8/1-14. Why can places not update theirwebsites?! Had I known we would have planned this for next time we are nearby in a month or so. Took my family and in laws here for lunch with our 2 year old son. They were really friendly and accommodated all of our... requests, even as my son was being quite...energetic! Really appreciated that. Great food, mix of Korean and Japanese. Willvisit again! Read more

Scrumptious sushi rolls in Medfield center! Ambient setting inside makes this a wonderful place for dining in.

Food was pricey but we believe it was delicious, satisfying, and worth the price. I do believe that service and be improved in... with making sure servers are asking if customers need drink refills instead of the other way around. Read more
