The server that we had, must of been new to the job. When the food came out, it was missing some of the order and we had to ask... where is the rest of the order. We asked if they had some avocados and they said no, which made us think ???? a Mexicanrestaurant that don't serve avocados. We asked for cold beer ???? we where serve medium cold beer. For the real large plattersof sea food, they want around $200.00 dollars. We can go to captain George in Williamsburg for $80.00 dollars for all you caneat buffet. First time we visit this place. It was clean, good service and the food was delicious.

my only complaint was the strobe lights at the table but besides that, the food was AMAZING and the drinks were out of this... world! Yes the service was slow but every place is slow with shortage of workers. I will definitely come back. Read more

The flavor of the good was food, but the service was awful. They were out of chips, rice among other things. Table was dirty... when we sat down on it, and prices are on the high side. Service attention needs to improve. Read more

Great experience! I went with 3 other friends. I am personally not a big fan of seafood. The big platters are enough to share... for 4-6 ppl. We ordered 1 Mariscada Dashiel, 1 Large Ceviche Mixto and 1 Crab Legs 1.5lbs Ajillo Style. We couldn?t finisheverything keep in mind my other 3 friends are huge seafood fans. Our server Julio was very attentive and 2 of my friends areHispanic and enjoyed discussing the orders in Spanish. The bartender was very helpful with the drinks choices too. Over the past few weeks my fiancé and I have consider this our date night place and we absolutely are amazed every time we come... In. Yes, staff has been short lately but considering this pandemic we are in you can see and know when your here the owner andservers are doing the most they can to make your experience the best. MUST READ!!! Finally a Mexican restaurant in mechanicsville that gets your order correct and has good beer on price, and wine... thats good for me and my wife's tastes. The food was quick and really good. They also had great staff that made sure that youwere always getting what you wanted. So a must to go support a local restaurant! And a very clean place and nice environment.For the beer people check out the jar you will get your money's worth! UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so its been a fewmonths and already there starting to turn for the worst. Me and friends went to eat there last night and it was rough. One ofthe waitresses was trying but the rest were taking a long time and the food came cold , and my friend ordered shrimp and it wascold and told them to take it and she didn't want it after that . Well what they did was is take it and put it a heat box andbrought it back.........you don't do that lol especially when the person tells you they don't want it. Then my food was wrongand when you tell some of the servers its wrong they still put it on the table and walk away all because some of them can'tunderstand English at all like not a little! so when you say no they move around you and put it on the table......again youdon't do that! I had high hopes for this place but on this path its not looking good, please fix what has changed in thesemonths.
