Found logo on Google Maps searching for nearby fast food! Tried takeout on a Wed afternoon. Nice atmosphere, laidback dining. At... back counter, said was new diner & was recommended 'The Chick' bundle of any style chicken salad (12, including 3 spicy) orpimento scoop or sandwich and side. Also got a prepared pimento cheese from the cooler for my husband. Nice employee offered mecrackers to go with after ringing me out. Asking about restaurant, the owner stepped over to say he opened in 2020, & wechatted. He offered a menu to take with me. Good food with reasonable prices and option to dine or carryout. Delicious chicken salad options sold by the half or whole pound. The meals are fantastic! My favorite is a chicken salad (Lemon... basil) croissant with a grape salad side. Meals come with a cute little sugar cookie! Meals are around $10 and are great toshare with a toddler after you cut up the grapes of course. 2022-07-13 this was my first visit ever to a Chicken Salad Chick. I had never even heard of them until the previous evening when... I watched a food review by The Endorsement on YouTube and his score was high. I decided to give them a try. I decided to havethe Fancy Nancy sandwich on croissant with a scoop of Cranberry Kelly on the side. I also got the Fully Loaded Potato Soup and apiece of Devine Chocolate Cake. My wife got the Fancy Nancy on wheat bread, not toasted with a scoop of fruity fran and a bowlof Broccoli Cheese Soup. The place is extremely clean and brand new and everyone there was very friendly. It was decorated alittle frilly and I will speak of that later. ???? Here Is my review. The Chick Fancy Nancy Sandwich Croissant Is a WouldRecommend Plus. I loved the apples and grapes in the chicken salad. The croissant was excellent and soft. I got mine with thelettuce and tomato but next time I'm going to skip those. I think it would be better with just the chicken salad. Also next timeI'm going to get the toasted wheat bread. I tasted my wife sandwich and I love the bread but felt it would be bettertoasted. Chicken Salad Chick has finally made their way into VA. Previously, the closest one was in Northeast TN. Not too far off 295... as we were headed to VA Beach, we stopped for a quick lunch. It was around 11:45 on a Wednesday afternoon and the place wasbusy, yet the inside remained clean and the food was ready quickly. I opted for a chicken salad trio--Scoop of Fancy Nancy,broccoli salad, and a cookie (served with crackers and a pickle spear). My husband order a trio as well getting the chickensalad blt with mac and cheese and a cookie. We both enjoyed our scoop/sandwich, but the broccoli salad blew the mac and cheeseout of the water.
